It should come as no surprise that the New York Times elected to give Ahmed Yousef, political adviser to Ismail Haniya, a platform to spew Hamas propaganda. After all, editorial choices like this are what separate the Times from papers that don’t give comfort to the enemy. Last I checked, the U.S. still recognizes Hamas as a terrorist organization. No American media outlet should provide Hamas with the vehicle to express the freedom of speech that Hamas withholds from so many.
Here are some samples;
It has consistently offered a 10-year cease-fire with the Israelis to try to create an atmosphere of calm in which we resolve our differences. Hamas even adhered to a unilateral cease-fire for 18 months in an effort to normalize the situation on the ground. None of these points appear to have been recognized in the press coverage of the last few days.
At what price the ceasefire? Only Israel’s return to the 1967 borders, the right of return for Palestinians, and the release of prisoners held in Israeli jails. These terms seem very similar to those offered to Israel at the Mecca Accord…for a peace treaty!
And what happens after 10 years?? Peace, love and understanding?
Hamas did not adhere to their ceasefire. Not at all. The fact that they were in power since 2006 and did nothing to prevent hundreds of Qassams being fired from Gaza makes them as culpable as anyone.
The press didn’t cover these “facts” simply because they don’t hold water, and because they pale in comparison to the brutality Hamas has displayed.
Nor has it been evident to many people in the West that the civil unrest in Gaza and the West Bank has been precipitated by the American and Israeli policy of arming elements of the Fatah opposition who want to attack Hamas and force us from office.
As always…blame the Americans and Israelis for you insatiable blood lust. And when the Israelis are no longer in Gaza, the Muslims find cause to kill each other. But hey, its not their fault.
The streets of Gaza are now calm for the first time in a very long time. We have begun disarming some of the drug dealers and the armed gangs and we hope to restore a sense of security and safety to the citizens of Gaza. We want to get children back to school, get basic services functioning again, and provide long-term economic gains for our people.
The streets are calm because your enemies are either dead or running for their lives. Everyone else is following your orders issued by the barrels of your guns.
I am sure your schools beckon for your precious children, whom you so brazenly send to their suicidal deaths. Summer is coming…Jihad camp is open.
Any further attempts to marginalize us, starve our people into submission or attack us militarily will prove that the United States and Israeli governments are not genuinely interested in seeing an end to the violence.
And for the finale, the veiled threat.
The Times should be ashamed of itself. If only it had shame.

More ridiculousness...give us everything we want or we will continue to rain rockets on your head...because you don't want peace.
How can they say this stuff with a straight face?

Hey, New Duranty Times, what part of genocide don't you understand?
Here is a sample of The Hamas Charter (may the Children of Israel wipe them out -- every last one of them):
"The Islamic Resistance Movement is one of the links in the chain of the struggle against the Zionist invaders. It goes back to 1939, to the emergence of the martyr Izz al-Din al Kissam and his brethren the fighters, members of Moslem Brotherhood. It goes on to reach out and become one with another chain that includes the struggle of the Palestinians and Moslem Brotherhood in the 1948 war and the Jihad operations of the Moslem Brotherhood in 1968 and after.
Moreover, if the links have been distant from each other and if obstacles, placed by those who are the lackeys of Zionism in the way of the fighters obstructed the continuation of the struggle, the Islamic Resistance Movement aspires to the realisation of Allah's promise, no matter how long that should take. The Prophet, Allah bless him and grant him salvation, has said:
"The Day of Judgement will not come about until Moslems fight the Jews (killing the Jews), when the Jew will hide behind stones and trees. The stones and trees will say O Moslems, O Abdulla, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him. Only the Gharkad tree, (evidently a certain kind of tree) would not do that because it is one of the trees of the Jews." (related by al-Bukhari and Moslem).

When Hamas and Fatah tear up their genocidal Charters in front of the global TV cameras and swear to Allah and in Mohammeds name that they renounce them completely, I'll eye them with a little less suspicion than I do now.
How the rest of the worlds patsies are taken in by all this propaganda I'll never know.
Maybe it's because they hate Jews more than they care for their own countries?

Does anyone get the significance of a 10 year cease fire? Why not a 5 year or 15 year cease fire? Do the words 10 year, Mecca and cease fire sound familiar? Remember how long THAT cease fire lasted?

They're asking for a 10 year hudna so they can reorganise and rearm themselves, as well as amalgamate with other groups from Iran, Saudi, Syria, etc., and then attack Israel from all sides... replay of 1948.

Say, this reminds me a lot of what happened in in Yathrib in 625 AD, more or less. The 6th Pillar of Islam had finally become clear to everybody, the price of not complying with the Jizya protection racket finally got through the thick infidel skulls, and everything got real quiet like.
By then the corpses of Abu and Asma were well rotted. Order was restored. Peace was instilled. Terror of Islam was implemented.
Surrendering in the 1980s to the LA Bloods or the Blackstone Rangers -- or to the Islamic Gang (the Companions) in 625 AD -- was the prudent thing to do. Pay the protection; don't have you or your family killed or maimed.
Everything was ok; we're all gonna be alright now.
Peace.

Sounds like the same flaming b.s. issued by Lenin during the 1920's, Stalin during the 1930's, Hitler during the 1940's, Kruschev during the 1950's, Mao during the 1960's, Pol Pot during the 1970's, Arafat during the 1980's, and Saddam during the 1990's, yet these brainless suckers at the NYTimes swallow it like zombies gulping down their favorite pus.
The critical intelligence fails when it comes to tyrants, maniacs, despots, liars and genocidalists.

Now wait just a goddamned minute, Beard. The staff at NYT went to Yale Harvard Stanford Oxford Princeton. These people are pros who know what they're doing. What do you know?
Did you go to Yale Harvard Stanford Oxford Princeton? No, you did not. So who are you to dare to question our Ruling Elite on this Jihad thing.

Oh. I forgot. Pinch couldn't even get admitted to Columbia. Forget where he went. But the way I see it the way Pinch fought his way through those tough times fielding all those Rejection Letters even when his dad was running the NYT toughened him up, inspired his passion for Marxim and Islamism [sic].
It's all so Freudian. As with Islam and Marxism, it's all so pyscho-sexual.

Some questions;
Why is the New York Times still called "The Paper of Record"?
Why aren't the publishers fighting for their lives in a court of law defending charges of high treason?
Is the Bush adminstration's Justice Department so corrupt, cowardy or indifferent that the leaking and publishing of vital and legal top secret security programs warrants no visible investigtion?
Does the Times realise that people worldwide have died as the result of the revelation of the NSA terrorist surveilance program and money tracking program, and that the killing ain't over?
I'll bet the editors were running around the room and peeing on the carpet when they learned of this oppurtunity to spread Hamas propaganda.
Meanwhile, the UPI is doing their part to soften the image of murderous jihadi terrorists in this article;
http://mypetjawa.mu.nu/archives/188417.php
Last question;
Why does the print media donate money to the democrat party at a 5:1 ratio and the media overall at an astonishing 9:1 rate?
(Ok, that last question was rhetorical)
at June 22, 2007 1:42 AM
The money tracking program is than complete failure and waste of time and money. An the NSA illegal wiretaping program was also a complete failure an waste of money. Nobody lost they life over these two complete failure of program. The NYT is free to talk to anyone they please without ask for our government permission of our racist government.

..."The word "patriot" in the PATRIOT Act is an acronym that spells out as "Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism."
....tracking the terrorist finances and financiers has provided many names of terrorists, the tracking of the terrorist finances has resulted in Billions of dollars being frozen and made no longer availiable to the terrorists to use for payrolls, weapons purchases, equipment purchases, bribes, kickbacks, or various other costs of operation..the seizure has seriously hampered the activities of the terrorists...
.....the wiretapping has revealed many plots and identified many terrorists (many of which are now in prison--effectively taking them out of the picture before they could kill innocent people)...The wiretapping has led to the discovery of other terrorists, corrupt politicians, other phone numbers and email addresses, secret codes, terrorists hideout locations, terrorist travel plans, terrorists targets, and has revealed a much wider picture of terrorist activity than most have envisioned..
if you object to such security measures, then I would question your motives....

I went to the DLI in Monterey, Ca. and Temple U. in Philly, Pa., but I guess that won't stand up in the court of NYT.

I dont object to security measure's, as such. What I object to is, government's tendancy to abuse it's own law's, rule's, and regulation's. If the Patriot act, is only applied to terrorism, (without re-defining that word, over and over, to cover all contingencie's) I would have no objection at all. But that is not how government work's. Not the US gov anyway. A line of US president's, and administration's, have brought America to the brink of destruction. The Bush adminstration and it's opposer's (liberal/demo's,) are mostly un-responsive to the people who elect them. They are like demi-god's, and godesses, primping, posing, and combing their hair a lot. These elitist's act more like royalty than public servant's. They simply cannot be trusted to do what is 'really' right for the American people, but they can be relied upon to do whatever further's themselve's, and any agenda's they may have, and they have plenty of them.
I dont trust them, so I dont trust their self serving invention's, such as the Patriot act.
Prior to passing any legislation, the House/Senate, is supposed to exaustivly debate the constitutionality of the bill. They hardly ever do that, so there are thousand's of federal law's that are unconstitutional or extra-constitutional.
The Patriot Act is one of those.
Applied properly, in the manner for which it was intended, is fine with me, but I dont trust the gov to NOT abuse it...

Defenderof islam: "An the NSA illegal wiretaping program was also a complete failure an waste of money."
Agreed. All this surveillance IS a waste of money. Money which we wouldn't have to waste if we had no Muslims in the west.
No Muslims - No need for wire-tapping.
No sustained security threat - No reason to subject the rest of us to a steady erosion of our liberties.
Truly, it's a relief to find some common ground of agreement for a change.

The money tracking program was the MOST productive thing !!
Plus in my opion there was only ONE problem with the Patriot act. It could have been fixed. It was the easy to get NSL's. And they used it too much. I can see a need for them SOMETIMES. But they should still have to go through the FISA court and then need say the CIA directors and Attorny Generals signature as well. If it is that important to keep everybodies mouth shout about the investigation then it should capable of doing it from time to time.

99% of the money frozen by USA have nothing to do with terrorism at all many time it is than government agent who is a bigot who make just than claim with no real hard soild evident at all. Many countries around the world have since unfrozen the money since the USA government have repeat refuse to
furnish proofs and evidents to support they wild claims. America doesnot have the rule of law anymore like we have in the past. Ban moslim wouldnot work at all there where alway moslim in America many have fought for America independence from England in 1776. We have agroup of people in Washington who want to domanate the whole world includeing the America people. After 9-11 they said to the america public give up your freedoms and we will give you security from terrorist. Like Ben Franklin said those you want to give up freedoms for security dersive nether freedom or security. America military is way too small to conquest the world or domanate it as we are finding out in Iraq and Afghanistan and also where. America culture is rudding too many people around the world the wrong way. America musie make america teenager fight in gangs and have sex without being marry. There is more violation in America today an there is in Pakistan Tiberal terrority. Some moslim and I where talking about how wrong it is to stop moslim woman who are dress modest from shopping. We have than woman in charge
of running the mosque on than day to day basic and many woman compliant how her talking to men too much and going into the man prayer room to make sure ythe cooling and heat system is working. First as long as she is dress in mostess clothing
she is free to give men and women instrustions on how thing must be done. There is no rule against than woman being in the man prayer room , there are time when women pray begin us men when there was no more room in the women prayer room and overflow room exspect on the Eid after the end of the fasting month.
