Iran: Death by stoning a 'wise measure'

Is stoning brutal or inhumane? Is it a violation of basic human rights? On the contrary: Iran considers it wise. Sharia is everything and the only thing. This from AKI:

Tehran, 16 July (AKI) –Iran's chief prosecutor Ghorban Ali Dori Najafabad has defended the death penalty by stoning describing it as a "wise measure".

"Death by stoning and all the measures contained in the Sharia (Islamic law) are wise measures' he said in speech delivered Monday in Zanjan, a town located some 200 kilometres west of the capital Tehran.

"We need to distinguish between the law of bloodmoney and the of executions carried out after the death sentence has been passed. The first is a right the Sharia recognises to the victims, while the second is a law wanted by men", Najafabad said.

The issue of death by stoning has recently made headlines again in Iran after the practice was used to execute a man in Iran's Takestan region. The penalty was carried out on the order of a local judge acting against the advice of Iran's chief judicial authority official Seyyed Mahmoud Shahroudi.

"Ayatollah Shahroudi, is not against death by stoning, but sometimes he doesn't agree with how this measure is applied", the head of Iran's state appointed Human Rights Commission Mohammad Javad Larijani said.

"No one can be against stoning by death because this form of punishment is contained in the Sharia," said Larijani, adding that he believed the practice did not run contrary to international human right accords signed by Iran.

Sharia über alles.

Barbarians - do it for their own sick fun and no other reason. No person in their right mind would find stoning acceptable.

""Death by stoning and all the measures contained in the Sharia (Islamic law) are wise measures'

...I am sure the convicted would offer a different opinion...after all most of the convicted were given no attorneys or an opportunity to defend themselves....

I agree-stoning is indeed a wise measure. Let those who are sick of them cast stones at the criminals running Iran-the sooner the better because few people deserve a fate like this more than that bunch of lunatics.

You know, it's so unbelievable that we are actually discussing these things. How have the Mohammedans been able to turn the world upside down in the past 6 years (since and including 9/11)???

No, you barbaric neanderthal Mohammedans - stoning is NOT acceptable. My God, you people are out of your minds.

And YET, U.S. Conservatives are accused of barbarism by the Left.

I call BULLSHIT.

This is solid proof they do not have the true translation of what is written Holy and to be kept Holy! They stop at Abraham and Isaac. God ended the killings. This is when Mo-steps in and says No! He will turn it into HIS IDEAS! All muslims and islamist are stuck in this time! When the true message was, even God said, Jesus to Isaac!
When Jesus did come he stopped the stoning by saying, "he who is without sin cast the first stone!"
All these muslims and islamist think of themselfs as holi-er than holi! They dictate what is and what isn't, they dictate for God, they dictate what heaven will be. they dictate what you are thinking and judge and kill you off, by their own delusions.
The muslims and islamist cannnot separate theirselfs from that which is spirtual!

Stoning someone for adultery is wrong.

But who among us wouldn't leap at the chance to stone that "Liar and the father of lies and a Murderer from the beginning"??? Crucifixion would be too good for the fiend muhammad.

The more I think about it, the more I realize how many people I could stone.

I'd pitch a fast rock at OBL so fast it would make his head spin.

I believe that we have come to this evil pass because the demographics of the Muslim world have reached a critical mass ( read Mark Steyn's AMERICA ALONE.) Get used to it: there are well over a billion of these savages with many more being born every day, and birth rates in the West are far below replacement levels. In the World War that is coming
we are already way behind in manpower. When you have expended your last round and broken your ka-bar, then you, too, will have to pick up stones to throw.

We talk about the victims in this type of thing, but if the tables were turned on someone else - would today's victims just be another face in a sea of people who are either doing the stoning or watching it out of fascination?

I am have not felt any sorrow for any muslim 'victims' for some time. Only children will break my heart, but there is a certain age where they are no longer innocent either. With the muslims teaching their children how to slip throats, put on suicide belts, watch cartoons of infidels being blown up by mice/bees/whatever. This whole thing called islam has become disgusting to me.

Remind me again why we don't want to bomb these people?

"One of the last few Patriots left" - you quoted me.

WW3? My sorrow is indescribable. And because of the birth rate of Barbarians? I pity civilized humanity, us. Please God, the Judeo-Christian God, the ONLY God, please help us.

If I believed in talking trees and talking rocks I might well find stoning someone a sensible proposition....

Pythagoras: I can only laugh, as I would be crying blood from my eyes if I didn't. All the time I'm coming across talking trees and rocks. It brings a whole new meaning to loony tunes.

"Sharia Uber Alles".......perfect! Me thinks this would look good on the back of my truck, along with "Islam, Abusing Children since 622AD" or how about "Islam Macht Frei" or "Know Islam, Know Terror" Thanks to John Edwards we should bring back those bumper sticker slogans. How about a little yellow square turned sideways saying. "Islamophobe on Board"?
"Islamophobes of the world, Unite!"
"Stop Muslim immigration now!"

Posted by: OregonJake [TypeKey Profile Page] at July 17, 2007 7:12 PM

This is what we have to emphasize in the face of the 'tiny minority of extremists' canard....that terrorist violence is only one facet of Islamic intolerance....that the hudud punishments of lapidation, amputation and the killing of apostates are firmly rooted in Islamic theology. They are perched on the distant horizon of the Western world's future unless we wake up soon.

Banning Muslim immigration would be a "wise measure."
