"Extra security for Ehsan Jami," from Expatica (thanks to all who sent this in):
VOORBURG - Ehsan Jami, the chairman of the committee for ex-Muslims, will be given extra security. The national anti-terrorism coordinator's office, the public prosecution department and the police decided during a meeting on Monday that "additional measures" are necessary for the protection of the 22-year-old Labour PvdA council member in Leidschendam-Voorburg. A spokesperson for the office of the national anti-terrorism coordinator (NCTb) reported this on Monday when asked. The extra measures are being implemented because Jami was attacked and beaten in Voorburg last weekend. No further details about the extra security measures are being released.Jami did not want to say much about the attack earlier in the day on Monday. "I'm too emotional for that," the politician said. His advisor and publicist, academic Afshin Ellian, says that three men of ethnic background were waiting to attack Jami after he left a supermarket.
He was struck twice and sworn at. Ellian says it is the third time that Jami has been ambushed like this recently. The attack has been reported to police.
Jami said in an interview previously that Mohammed was "a terrible man." He hopes his committee can help Muslims who turn away from Islam and put taboos in the Muslim world like domestic violence and human rights violations on the agenda.
Harry Oldersma, faction chairman of the PvdA in Leidschendam-Voorburg, was "shocked and angry" at the abuse suffered by his fellow party member. "It just isn't acceptable that you are beaten up for having an opinion. That crosses all boundaries."

I thought that you were supposed to kill apostates. Only in Islamic countries......and the Netherlands is not an Islamic country - yet!

I see them all the time, walking up Wimbledon Hill to the Thai temple.
So aggressive and forcefull in their meditation.

What do you expect? The Netherlands have been committing slow suicide for decades now. If they still haven't awakened and realized the danger of what they are doing, then perhaps here is a country that DESERVES to fall to Islam.

In Canada, Tarek Fatah, whose organization fought against sharia law and who has spoken out in support of gay rights and against the non-inner-spiritual-struggle type of jihad, has been branded an apostate and has received death threats.
He hasn't even left Islam.

This is the kind of crap that drove Ayaan Hirsi Ali out of Holland and into the US. Will more Muslim apostates do the same? Well, it's Hollands loss then.

News update:
The ethnic background of the three men who attacked Ehsan Jami was mentioned by the politically correct Dutch press, which is remarkable: one is a Somali, the others are Moroccans. I do not see any valid reason for Expatica to leave this out.
The website of Jami's (social-democrat) political party quotes what they said: "Dirty Jew, dirty faggot, dirty parricide, what are you talking about islam and prophet Mohammed."
Parricide undoubtedly refers to the islamic umma or dar-al-islam, to be established in the Dutch dar-al-harb. This is why they felt they had to silence Jami.
Even after a day and a half some media still said that the 'possible' link between the violent attack and the islamice religion had to be investigated. Yeah, right.
Jami's advisor Afshin Ellian, a law professor and former refugee from Iran, called cabinet member Ella Vogelaar 'the secretary of islamization' on national TV. The journalist promptly silenced him.
Vogelaar belongs to the social democrat party PvdA too and was quoted recently saying that The Netherlands is on its way to become a 'Jewish-Christian-Muslim culture'.
The PvdA (formerly known for elevating the labourers' class) depends heavily on muslim and other non-Western immigrants' votes in Amsterdam, Rotterdam and The Hague. They have been criticized for condescendingly stooping to intolerant immigrants on welfare or in public elite positions in order to keep their power position.

As if the murder of Theo van Gogh and the self-exile of Dutch MP Ayaan Hirsi Ali were not clues enough that the Dutch nation, culture and heritage are besieged by a relentless enemy. Where is the lost courage of the apparently defeated Dutch people? Is it only the non-Dutch who remember the likes of Mooy Lambert?
