Islamic Tolerance Alert from the Middle East Times (thanks to all who sent this in):
CAIRO -- Two Coptic Christian rights activists have been arrested in Egypt for allegedly insulting Prophet Mohammed on a British-based Web site, their lawyer and a judicial source said Thursday.Security forces Wednesday arrested the Egyptian country director of the Middle East Christian Association (MECA) Adel Fawzi, 61, and the association's photographer Peter Ezzat, 35, their lawyer Naguib Guebrail said.
"They were arrested at home in Cairo and were still being held Thursday morning," said Guebrail. "We haven't been officially told why they were arrested but security sources told us they are accused of distributing religiously defamatory books that incited confrontation between Copts and Muslims," he said.
Computers, CDs, and documents were seized by security forces, the lawyer and judicial source said. The source said that the pair had been arrested for insulting Islam on the British-based United Copts Web site.
"The Egyptian public prosecutor ordered Fawzi and Ezzat arrested for publishing articles and declarations that are damaging to Islam and insulting to Prophet Mohammed on the United Copts Web site," the source said. "These arrests follow a complaint about the two people who run the site made by two lawyers who felt offended by the publication of these articles," he said.
"Police ransacked Fawzi's home and took his computer and his published book Persecuted Copts," the United Copts Web site said.
The Web site says that its aims include "exposing the injustice the Copts suffer" and "promoting constructive dialogue with the Egyptian government agencies and moderate Muslims."
Well, you can see how that would be a terrible thing to do, now, can't you?

It seems everything is against islam. What is the big deal about insulting Mohammed. He was not God. He was only a man.

Islam was constructed by Mohammad and is gang to create situations where Muslims are offended. Once offended they reactive with violence killing those who supposedly caused the offense. They then claim to be the victims and maintain their self delusion that their religion is one of peace.
Here is a common Muslim pattern:
Be critical of others thereby provoking them to criticize Muslims/Islam - react violently when others do criticize - convert/kill them - take their land - spread - repeat. Ever wonder why most Muslim countries have few non-Muslims ... and the non-Muslims are very passive?

I have wondered before just what one does to insult Mo. Call him a murderer, a thief, a liar, a child-molester, a pirate, a cheat, a vandal, a rapist? He was all these things, and the moslems celebrate him for them, and Allah approved of all of them. That doesn't leave much.

Pathetic? No, I wouldn't call him that. He was a brilliant strategist--even I can't deny that. How else did he manage to create a fake religion that has persisted for so long? No, pathetic he was not. Violent, yes. A rapist, yes. A murderer, yes. Pathetic? Unfortunately not. If he were, our task of stopping Islam would be far easier.
