Brussels court upholds ban on anti-Islamization protest planned for Sept. 11

Of course, about the Islamization of Europe itself, Thielemans has nothing to say, because he doesn't recognize its implications, because he has swallowed the PC nonsense about Islam being a religion of peace with no particular political character.

"Brussels court upholds ban on anti-Islam protest planned for Sept. 11," from The Associated Press (thanks to all who sent this in):

BRUSSELS, Belgium: An appeals court has upheld the ban of an anti-Islam protest planned for Sept. 11 in Belgium's capital, six years after the terrorist attacks on New York and Washington.

The organizers — an alliance of Europeans opposed to the "Islamization" of Europe — failed to prove the ban causes them "irreparable damage," the Council of State, an administrative appeals court, ruled late Wednesday.

Brussels Mayor Freddy Thielemans banned the demonstration Aug. 9 fearing it would disturb public order and calling the Stop Islamization of Europe alliance an inflammatory group.

In a secular democracy "it cannot be that women and men are ... suspected of having committed the worst crimes" simply because they are Muslims, said Thielemans.

Since 2001, Thielemans has approved more than 3,500 demonstrations in the Belgian capital and banned six, including the one of SIOE which calls itself "an alliance of people across Europe with the single aim of preventing Islam becoming a dominant political force in Europe."

AFA is free to attack people and SIOE is a "provocative" group. Europens can't express concern for thair country without being called a bigot.

They should hold it anyway

Live free and don't smoke.

Hi

The National Council did not uphold Kalifascist Freddy's decision - they deferred it.

The reason was totally spurious in our opinion, in that it should be heard by a French speaking part of the national Council.

Here we have leftist totalitarians banning free speech and free thought to protect fascist totalitarians. What a world is Europe.

I hope the protesters can manage to stand firm on this.

What will happen if the protesters convene anyway? Will they be arrested? (I have no idea what the laws are in Belgium--does anyone know?)

Dhimmi Dhimmi Dhimmi. Belgians are true slaves of muslims.

A message to our American friends:

Please do not assume that ordinary people in Europe accept this decision as the last word. Many people, including myself, will be in Brussels whether this demonstration is prohibited or not.

Our intention is to go further and organise other demonstrations in major European cities.

Your support is always welcome.

Belgium you are doomed.

Hoping to be in Brussels on 9/11.

(A damp cloth and a bottle of water are advised for countering tear gas, if used.)

A protest against the destruction of Europe being attacked by European police will make good imagery that will filter out to the average European and Westerner to show the unspoken intent of the EU lawmakers: to invite Islam in to destroy Europe.

Freedom is never free.

LondonBorn&Bred,

I will be praying for you and all who stand up to the islamic terrorists on Sept 11.

On Patriots Day we'll remember those:
unarmed citizens in offices and on planes
who didn't know what hit them,
who were burned alive,
suffocated in stairwells,
jumped from burning skyscrapers,
who died trying to save others, and
THOSE WHO FOUGHT BACK, while facing their deaths.

You are honoring the memory of those lost and continuing the battle of those who died fighting.

Wish we could all be there on September 11, but our thoughts and prayers will be with any of our JW comrades who make it.

"The organizers — an alliance of Europeans opposed to the "Islamization" of Europe — failed to prove the ban causes them "irreparable damage," the Council of State, an administrative appeals court, ruled late Wednesday."

...do you have to produce bodies of those beaten, tortured, and killed by Muslims to show "irreparable damage?" of the Islamification of Europe....

I'll also be there with a small group of people from Paris. Hope to see as many as possible there.

To all Europeans attending on 9/11 in Brussels you have this American's full support. I wish you all great success.

Would anyone know of any "live" blogging that might take place that day?

Posted by: Leave Iraq Now [TypeKey Profile Page] at August 30, 2007 7:20 PM

Absolutely--we must have JW/DW bloggers posting whatever happens at this Brussels event. We cannot leave it up to the media; we need people on the ground sharing their experiences. And thanks for keeping us informed.

the only protests the Belgian politicians Muslim masters will allow are protests against cartoons about Mohammed and protests again Israel unfortunately I think it's going to take Al Qaeda and bin Laden setting off an atom bomb in the USA and killing millions before Europe will take notice of the terrorists and terrorist supporters in their countries and send them back where they came from

My spirit will be with you, my brave European friends, along with the spirits of all the brave men and woman who risked their lives to keep us free. This no socialist dictator can stop.

Sebastien - good luck and God bless you.

Wrap yourselves in the Tricolour - whose colours represent not only Liberte, Egalite, Fraternite, but also Faith, Hope and Charity. Carry, perhaps, a volume of Beaumarchais or of De Tocqueville - they both saw clearly the nature of Islam; or Voltaire's play, Mahomet: or, Fanaticism.

Remember Charles de Foucauld, martyred for the Catholic faith in Algeria.

Remember Jean de Vallette who led the defence of Malta in 1565.

Here where I live, on the other side of the world, I will be thinking of you all on 11th September; I will hope to read a full report of events in Brussels, on jihadwatch/ dhimmiwatch, come 12th or 13th September.

Thanks Dumbledoresarmy,

I'll probably be wearing a Templar T Shirt from here http://contree.medievale.free.fr/ and I'll take as plenty of photos.

I'd also like to visit this place http://www.brusselsjournal.com/node/1053 to see what the story is.

Sept 11th should become an International Day of Mourning, and the US Ambassador to the UN should immediately begin a campaign for this.

It is believed that the Muslim vote was largely responsible for Freddy Thielemans being elected to the position of Mayor of Brussels.

Also, to add further insult to the banning of the SIOE 9/11 march, some people
may not be aware that the Mayor of Brussels has authorised a demonstration by the so-called "United For Truth" group, to be held on Sunday September 9. This organisation, comprising an array of “human rights and peace” groups, claim that the Bush Administration are co-conspirators, responsible for the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
http://www.brusselsjournal.com/node/2331

On BBC News Radio, re: the banned 9/11 demonstration, it was stated, that the SIOE deny that they are a Neo-Nazi group.

The BBC would be fully aware that the mere association with a far-right organisation, would effectively tarnish the SIOE’s image as a peaceful pro-democracy group.

Many thanks to all of those people who are planning to attend the SIOE protest march on Tuesday September 11. Remember, you will also be representing many other like-minded people around the world.
