I will always remember how long it took them to fight those Buddhas of Bamiyan. It was true epic struggle worthy of the great military powers.

After a month of battle the mighty warriors of Allah won. At wikipedia (I know its hard to trust them) they have a picture of a calendar commemorating this great victory.

I have been to Thailand, and must say that Buddhism permeates the culture of those people, and they are among the friendliest, happiest, gentlest people on this earth. And yet they face a horrible problem with Islamists on their southern border with Islamist Malaysia. I've even heard that the peaceful, orange-robed Buddhist monks have taken up the fight to repel these savages.
Contrast with the cowardly politicians of Brussels who capitulate with the Mohammedans in the heart of Europe. Shame.
Even 15 years ago I recall being trailed and monitored by suspicious characters in southern Thailand.
They have already started WWIII. When does the West realize?

THE PROJECT: We're looking for people in every state of the Union who would be willing to purchase, from Amazon or any other source, a copy of Robert Spencer's new book Religion of Peace? Why Christianity Is And Islam Isn't and mail it, on an agreed upon date, to one of the senators in your state. We want to get the book simultaneously to all 100 senators, in order to send a strong message. If we get more than two people per state, books can also be sent to the U.S. House of Representatives.

If you'd like to participate, please write to me at traehnam@yahoo.com under the subject heading "Senate," and tell me the state your senator represents, an email address where I can reach you, and a nickname. No need for your real name. And I will never share your email address with anyone, not even with other volunteers for this project.

Once we have at least two people from every state, we can agree on a mailing date and then each of us can mail a copy of the book on that date.

Right before each of us mails the book, we can issue a press release to various media outlets in every state, and in that way announce and explain the mailing. And perhaps we can come up with some other ways of maximizing the effectiveness of this project and gaining as much positive attention as possible.

One of the project's volunteers suggested contacting Rep. Sue Myrick, who started the Anti-Jihad Caucus in Congress. I'll try to coordinate this project with Rep. Myrick to maximize its effectiveness. I've also been calling various congressional offices to get advice on how best to go about the project.

the Buddhas predate Islam and Muslims we have seen from the way they've treated Christian and Jewish artifacts on the Temple Mount denying they even exist its not surprising they would try to destroy Buddhist statues and already done so the giant Buddhas in Afghanistan in other areas they destroyed archaeological treasures claiming that because their pre-Islamic they have no historical value. Muslims are like rodents and cockroaches when it comes to historical artifacts they destroy them

The Swat Valley is the cradle of Vajrayana Buddhism and the birthplace of Padmasambhava, the founder of Tibetan Buddhism. Buddhism was a thriving religion for hundreds of years in the Swat Valley and spread east along the Silk Road. It was wiped out by Islamic invasion and many monks escaped to the Himalayan kingdoms. Now Buddhists can't visit the sacred places of their own religion and soon all traces of the religion will disappear in this area.

Obviously the Buddhists don't care or the world would hear their cries and pleas for justice and tolerance. Western Buddhists, who brought their leftist views with them when they converted, wear their kifaya scarves proudly in arrogant ignorance, never realizing that when pacifistic religions come up against Islam, they are blown into rubble and disappear into the mists of history.

I have never seen Western Buddhists wearing kefiyehs (spelling?), but I wouldn't be surprised. Looking for a way to rebel against Western society, they claim to follow a great Eastern religion. Then they are shocked to discover that the Dalai Lama opposes experimentation on human embryos - that pesky "respect for life" thing. They are shocked to discover that Asian Buddhists - Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, etc., all beautiful people (and I know many of them) - don't want to sign up for the converts' political agenda.

The question all of these overly intellectual folks cannot grapple with is this: what happens when your desire to continue to exist comes face to face with an implacably genocidal foe?
