Just yesterday a man making threats to teachers about Islamic conversion had "an unknown religion." Today a muslim is in prison for "an unknown crime."

These reporters are not learning much in journalism school, unless they are learning to keep quiet about Islamists.

Once we have at least two people from every state, we can agree on a mailing date and then each of us can mail a copy of the book on that date.

Right before each of us mails the book, we’ll issue a press release to media outlets in as many states as possible, and in that way announce and explain the mailing. And perhaps we can come up with some other ways of maximizing the effectiveness of this project and gaining as much positive attention as possible.

One of the project's volunteers suggested contacting Rep. Sue Myrick, who started the Anti-Jihad Caucus in Congress. When we reach the goal of having all 100 senators covered, I'll call Rep. Myrick's office and see if she can help. I've called several congressional offices to get advice on how best to proceed.

I see.......being a criminal in canada is just fine according to the Quran but don't you dare offend Allah by eating any Pork product.

CAIR-Canada loves to boast about how the Prisons all full on white Canadian born non-Muslims and Muslims have the lowest un-employment rates and the Highest percentage of University Degrees compared to Canadian born non-Muslims.

EXCEPT....just last week a CAIR-Can rep was on the Charles Adler show saying that Racism in Canada has created the high un-employment rate among Muslims and lead to false-arrests to imprison Muslims by Racial profiling or Islamophobia.

It can't be both , and while CAIR was boasting about the Imam that Corrections canada hired for a Federal Prison they failed to see the irony in this because it really meant the Muslim population
in prisons has exploded and warrants a Imam.

Only those Idiots at CAIR would boast about having a growth in the Prisons that is well out of proportion for the Muslims not in jail which are less than 2% of Canada total population.

I don't think the bacon is put onto the plates of Muslim inmates. It sounds to me as if he wanted a replacement for the bacon (I can't imagine what). Maybe he thought he should get an extra egg or some thinly sliced beef?

Goodness me but our Canadian prisoners eat well. I guess they need it for all that bodybuilding they do in the free gym and the free university courses they get to take.

I can't help wondering how Arizona's Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio would, or has been dealing with Muslim prisoners who live on bologna sandwiches? Sheriff Arpaio has been able to hold off the ACLU at every turn for the most part. The people of Maricopa County (Phoenix) have loved his handling of the job going on 15 years now. Sheriff Arpaio runs the fourth largest sheriffs department in the nation.

Sheriff Arpaio and the county legal offices have had to go to court on a Muslim convert early in the Sheriff's career after he retired from the FBI in the case of FREEMAN v ARPAIO. 1997--- Read the legal challenges and results at your leisure on this religious grounds challenge ajudicated by the 9th Circuit Court of appeals.

As a taxpaying Canadian, I am astonished (well, scandalized but honestly not very astonished) that my dollars provide criminals with breakfast that includes "...three pieces of bacon, two eggs, three slices of toast, jam, ketchup, milk, coffee, juice and cereal." With or without the bacon this is more than I generally eat for breakfast, and I eat well.

And, what do they award the Jewish inmates, who are obviously given the same choices? As I understand the operative word here is choice ! What offense is committed by allowing a muslim the choice to eat halal or haram? As I undestand it they are supposed to make this choice -- the prison is only providing them with the opportunity to exercise this choice!

Maybe they expect the prisons to enforce sharia law (for muslim prisoners only, of course). Logically, then, if one is caught stealing, say, a kitchen knife or food of a fellow prisoner's plate, they should have their hand cut off...?

Do muslims sue every Macdonalds restaurant they visit because there is bacon in the breakfast menu, and therefore they are given a choice that includes a "haram" item?

Archimedes2 -- At McDonald's, you can get a substitution. For example, cookies instead of a toy (in the Happy Meal -- now you know which member of my family likes Mickey D's).

I think that's what the prisoner wanted: not just the absence of bacon, but a substitution.

Perhaps you haven't heard, Phximan, but your post is the kind of thing Robert and JW get criticized for all the time by Muslim apologists and left-leaning appeasers: that is, a small but annoying number of posters here making liberal use of the F-word and other profanities coupled with mindless calls for genocide. Have you ever heard Robert or Hugh say something along the lines of "they all need to be killed," referring to Muslims?

If not, why exactly would you presume such radical comments are welcomed here? JW is continually regarded in some corners as a hate site, and Ibby Hooper has even attributed posters' comments to Robert, as if he made them himself. There has been speculation (based on reasonable suspicion) that some hate drivel (like yours)is in fact posted by radical Muslims, to make JW/DW look bad and to jump start the reactionary jihad against us. You needn't assist them in this.

I suppose Marisol will have issued a fatwa on your head by the time my post hits, but if not, let me warn you on her behalf. Such talk will not be long tolerated here.

It's difficult to tell from the way the article is worded, but I would assume that he wanted a specific substitute for the bacon--maybe a halal ground beef patty or some chicken--that would be analagous to the bacon. I could be wrong, but I think if he had just wanted an extra egg or two in lieu of the bacon I imagine he would have been accomadated.

Archimedes2 mentions Jewish inmates, who have some of the same dietary restrictions. You rarely hear of Jewish people suing institutions, even though there has been a Jewish community in the West for a long time. And you *never* hear about a Jewish person getting violent over accidently finding bacon crumbles on his salad or some shrimp in his Won Ton soup (as happened recently in Manilla when a Muslima accidently found some pork in her food at a Chinese restaurant).

I'm a vegetarian. I fully realize that this is not true of the majority culture. I request--rather than demand--substitutions. If someone slips up and I wind up with a meat sauce instead of cheese, I'm not going to sue anyone, or assume that my "Human Rights" have been violated.

Ha,ha-this gives the phrase 'Bringing Home the Bacon', a new meaning. Reading what the Inmates eat-a hearty English Breakfast [every day] which many ordinary people outside can't afford,maybe is time to consider a deal with the Chinese re: all prisoners in the West. Am convinced a stay in
Slave Labour Camps toiling from dawn to dusk,organs harvested before or after executions
would empty the populations of our prisons in a trice...Certainly a character like 'Duane David'
wouldn't dare demand monetary compensation or anything else-as usual, weak, pandering to crims
makes a laughing stock of the West.

...should the prisoners demand for special food be granted...look for another prisoner demand to steak and eggs with a heaping pile of potatoes because his religion (that of the Sacred Order of Gods Beef Eaters) commands that its followers eat steak and eggs for breakfast or else they will become even more criminally violent and insane....

....Of course the Muslim in prison is there because he may have been involved in a criminally violent act in direct violation of the laws of the country and got caught...

....the prision should continue to offer its menu and the prisioners have the option of eating or not eating....if the prisoners behave themselves, they may be released a little earlier, after which, they can eat whatever they desire...and maybe they will have learned a lesson....(they serve bacon in jail)....oh the horror!.....

there are a lot of people in Canada some 5 million who live below the poverty level and can,t even afford to toast for breakfast let alone eggs and bacon and coffee so I can only conclude that once again the bureaucrats in Ottawa are following the orders of the Saudi masters in this ruling a convict has committed a crime against society and in doing so has given up his rights as a member of the Society other than what common courtesy requires this looks more like a convict working system to get undeserved benefit i.e. cash
