Quality health care. "Nurses Told To Turn Muslims' Beds To Mecca, by Paul Jeeves in the Daily Express (thanks to all who sent this in):
OVERWORKED nurses have been ordered to stop all medical work five times every day to move Muslim patients’ beds so they face towards Mecca.The lengthy procedure, which also includes providing fresh bathing water, is creating turmoil among overstretched staff on bustling NHS wards.
But despite the havoc, Mid- Yorkshire NHS Trust says the rule must be instigated whenever possible to ensure Muslim patients have “a more comfortable stay in hospital”.
And a taxpayer-funded training programme for several hundred hospital staff has begun to ensure that all are familiar with the workings of the Muslim faith.
The scheme is initially being run at Dewsbury and District Hospital, West Yorkshire, but is set to be introduced at other hospitals in the new year.
It comes on the back of the introduction in some NHS hospitals last year of Burka-style gowns for Muslim patients who did not wish medical staff to see their face while operating or caring for them....
One experienced nurse working at Dewsbury said: “It would be easier to create Muslim-only wards with every bed facing Mecca than have to deal with this.
“Some people might think it is not that big a deal, but we have a huge Muslim population in Dewsbury and if we are having to turn dozens of beds to face Mecca five times a day, plus provide running water for them to wash before and after prayers, it is bound to impact on the essential medical service we are supposed to be providing.
“Although the beds are designed to be moved, the bays are not really suitable for having loads of beds moved around to face a different direction, and despite our best efforts it does cause disruption for non-Muslim patients.”
Who cares? They're just dhimmis.

Jamaat Tablighi ul Islam, the missionary organisation centred upon the [Dewsbury Markazi] mosque, is reformist in nature. It was founded by Maulana Muhammad Ilyas in Dehli during the 1930s and seems to apply a particularly pious code."

Rather than our pointing its hospital beds at Mecca, there is a lot to be said for putting the whole of Dewsbury on wheels and transporting it, and its population, back to the Mirpur district of Pakistan. It would certainly make life in this country a lot safer.

Time for a work action. These nurses should bitch like bloody hell, and so should the patients whose needs are being ignored while this nonsense takes place. Perhaps someone will suffer adverse consequences because of a staff stretched too thin, and a law suite will be filed. If they meekly carry on as is they derserve having to do this.

That’s nothing, did you catch BBC’s “Today” programme this morning?
They had an item about the muslim girl in who is awaiting sentence for collecting various murderous manuals on bombing etc. from the internet and fantasising about beheading infidels. They went to the road she lived saying how ordinary it was, how she was very young and people should not be punished for what they think and so on and so on and so on.
The interesting thing was they described her as “A shop assistant” i.e. a naive and dizzy little girl. They did not think it necessary to mention that the shop was at Heathrow Airport and she had airside security clearance.
I can only suppose the BBC think there is no security risk to anyone buying a porn magazine from such a person.

Time for a new invention-the Mecca Carousel Bed. Makes pointing the Islamaniacs in the right direction a snap. For hospitals with more money a special attachment that automatically aims the patient at the right time each day can be had too-saves on manual labor!

When any health care institution is forced to put religious practices and sensitivities before the health and safety of its clients, then it has effectively compromised its mission.
The nursing mission to treat the whole person is a noble mission, but when such excessive compulsive religious rituals require so much unreasonable accomodation at the expense of the health and safety of the other patients and available manpower and budgets, then, care is compromised for all patients.
Any patient whose care is adversely impacted by the dilution of nursing care would seem entitled to bring suit for breach of care.

There is a worldwide nursing shortage which will only increase with this ridiculous "religious" regulation.If its so important for Muslims to face Mecca while in the hospital then their families should attend to their religious needs. Not overworked nurses who are in the business of saving lives.Of course Muslims only have to pray facing Mecca when its convenient for them and inconvenient for the infidel. Case in point, Muslim astronauts hitching rides on infidel spacecraft are not required to pray facing Mecca. Otherwise no Muslim would ever go up in space.

Come to think of it, with the earth being aspherical, wouldnt you be facing Mecca from any direction?
I would say if these muslims want to do these things they could get some of thier mosque friends or family members to help them.
Im shure its just another test to see how far they can push. They must have brainstorming sessions to think up all these ideas. What next?

I just watched the old British WWII movie, "Mrs. Miniver", starring Greer Garson. I was astounded by the entire movie's relevance to the U.K.'s predicament of being held hostage in their own country, by the current Islamic version of Euro-facism.
The sermon that the minister gives at the end, as a eulogy for three British, innocent, towns' people, who had been killed by the Nazis', is one that everyone in our Western world should hear. It is, word-for-word, exactly what we are now dealing with and should be alarmed by.
Also, the hostile verbal deluge, by a wounded Nazi soldier, whom had been shown compassion to, by Mrs. Miniver, is totally indicative of the disgusting attitudes of Islamic ingrates who should kiss the Western soil for the advantages we are gving them.

The numero uno Imam in Great Britian could solve the prayer time fiasco with a fatwa, but that would be too easy and would relieve the filthy infidel of some work.
There are most likely a few hospitals where the bed is pointed in the correct orientation anyway. Just think of those patients who have catheters or are incontinent.
What is a good Muslim with a catheter to do when it is prayer time?
Also, aren't Muslims required to bump their heads on the floor during prayer?

In the US it is understood that if possible, family members will stay with the patient if that patient needs close supervision. The four US hospitals that I know of make some accomodations for family members to stay with the patient.
As far back as 1958 when my grandfather had a stroke and needed full time care for the first week or so, my mother and her siblings took shifts with him.

It's common in America to see Indian and Chinese family members at the bedside assiting in the care of their relatives.They often stay 24 hours a day attending to the personal care needs of their family members and assiting with translation when the patient speaks little or no English.This is part of their tradition and considered a duty.You'll also find average Americans who will stay and assit with the care of their family. Contrast that with Muslims who prefer to burden the already overworked infidels then do the hard work and heavy lifting themselves.Is it any wonder people are disgusted by Islam.

Roxane, I have spent my time in a hospital helping care for someone. You probably have too. Could it be that Muslims have a not too kind opinion of someone who is sick?
Here is an opinion from Islam Q&A concerning punishment. I think that some Muslims may think that sickness is punishmnet for some evil act. Therefore, the sick person does not deserve help. I am just speculating, really guessing.

There was a news story on the BBC today in which the police had stated that some male gangs were were entrapping girls, the same age as them, into prostitution. Any particular sort of gang? - the question occurred to me. In a later mention of the story they added that it had been the Yorkshire police.
It's often like being a Kremlinologist, listening to the BBC covering stories that concern Muslims: you have to learn to read between the lines.

Indeed Mr. Fitzspencer is correct on this issue. Also interesting is that the word for peace (salam) comes from the same root (s-l-m) as Islam. In other words: peace, for Muslims, is through submission--submission of Muslims to Allah, submission of non-Muslims to Muslims, etc.

I also like the idea of putting the beds on a "lazy susan". Then you could paint numbers encased in red and black and play "Mecca Roulette." It'll raise a ton of cash for the failing social health care system. Besides, if anyone shows signs of being a gambling addict, they're already surrounded by doctors. Yeah....."round and round he goes, where he stops, nobody knows..." Oh, then the side bets on whether or not the muslim is actually facing east.;)

Yes I heard that report - it went out on an early-morning bulletin and as far as I know it was not repeated. That way they can guarantee that not too many people would hear it and the BBC couldn’t be accused of not reporting it. I do not think they used the "A" word and certainly not the “M” word you had to guess.
The grooming of under-age girls is a serious problem that has been building up for years. Grooming, such an innocent word, it implies education and improvement, much better than seduction and paedophile rape. There was actually a conference of the responsible bodies in the North of England within the last two weeks to discuss what to do about.
A conference for God’s sake! The head of a primary-school told me it was impossible for a teacher nowadays to take a crying child on his or her lap and comfort it and Scout Leaders must ask the permission of a child in front to witnesses before they can touch an injured ankle. Yet this has been going on for years but because it's “sensitive” nobody does anything about it
Did you catch that comment that members of the Manchester police unit dealing with it had been so frustrated by the refusal of their superiors to act they had resigned in disgust?

We do have Hindu leaders that could give these bastards a tase of their own medicine. Bal Thackery and Narender Modi, two names that strike fear into the Terrorist hearts.
The Muslims massacred Hindu Women and Children by burning them alive on the Godhra Train and Mr. Modi, CM of the State of Gujurat instructed Police not to get involved and allow Hindus to settle the score....and they did, and those terrorist are stillcrying about it to this day.
When the Bombay bombings happened, Bal Thackery unleashed the Hindus of the Shiv Sena (Army of the Divine Destroyer) and they once again gave the Terrorists a taste of their own message.
The PC govt of India tries to harass these two leaders but they are still around and Bal Thackery is presently involved in getting Gurkhas organised to defend themselves from organised Muslim attacks on Hindus in the Terrai region.
When those poor Nepalese lads were executed in Iraq for working on a British army camp, Bal Thackery unleashed Hindus in Kathmandu and they destroyed the mosque (not a well done job though, its still standing) and attacked muslim businesses. Reference: http://www.jihadwatch.org/archives/003026.php
