Fitzgerald: The Jizyah continues to flow

Topping the donors' list [to the "Palestinians"] were the European Union, which pledged $630 million, the United States, with a $555 million pledge, and Saudi Arabia, which will donate $500 million. -- from this news article

$555 million from the United States? And only $500 million from Saudi Arabia?

That's a half-day's revenues for Saudi Arabia. That's it?

And what about Kuwait, the U.A.E., Qatar, Libya, and all the other Muslim oil states that have done nothing to deserve their fabulous wealth?

It is a great error for any Infidel state or people to supply what is seen, by Muslim recipients, and soon after comes to be treated by the Infidel donors themselves, as the due of the Muslims, owed to them by the Infidels -- in other words, a classic payment of the Jizyah.

It is madness. It infuriates. If Congress can stop this 555 million dollar "donation" (as it is piously called) from the United States, it should. This has to stop because there is no need to transfer wealth to Arabs and Muslims when it is the Arabs and Muslims who keep prating of their unity -- a unity in the desire to destroy Israel, or to push Islam until it everywhere dominates, a unity only of hatred for the Infidels. And yet, having received ten trillion dollars in unearned and unmerited wealth, those rich Arabs and Muslims do not share it with poorer Arabs and Muslims, but expect the Americans and other Infidels to support them. This assumption must end and so too should the cringing attitude of Western governments toward Muslims.

Presidential candidates of both parties should make an issue of this. It is the product of ignorance of Islam and of the attitudes of Islam, including the triumphalism and the desire to everywhere force Infidels to pay, in whatever form, that Jizyah. If those Infidels wish to save face by calling it "foreign aid," the Muslims don't care. They know that the Infidels are too scared to deny Muslims this aid. There was a brief, uncharacteristic halt after Hamas won the “Palestinian” elections, but only to the aid to the "Palestinians," and not to Egypt, Pakistan, or that being lavished on corrupt Iraqis. Now, however, the spigot has been turned on again, and the "Protected People" have tugged at their forelocks in Paris.

Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama and John Edwards have as much right as Romney and Giuliani and Huckabee and the others to ask aloud why the Americans have contributed more than a trillion dollars to Iraq, and hundreds of billions to Afghanistan, and $60 billion to Egypt, and $27 billion (the figure calculated by Selig Harrison) to Pakistan since 2001 alone, and billions to the "Palestinian Authority" -- along with other billions sent by the Europeans. Many of those billions disappeared without a trace, when Arafat died. Where are those billions? And why is it that the "Palestinians," who have received in aid, per capita, more than any other group in history, should continue to receive that aid? Why should they continue to receive it above all when the Slow Jihad boys have semaphored or said, in every forum, that they have no intention of making a permanent peace, but only a hudna, a hudna to be accompanied by demands so grotesque, so dangerous for Israel's survival, that they can never or should never be met? The reason for the future breaching of that "truce treaty" is already contained in the proposals now being made.

When will the Infidels of threatened Europe begin to realize that they are no different from those of threatened Israel, but are just a little further down on the To-Do List?

How horrible it is that, with ten trillion dollars having been transferred since 1973 alone from the oil-consuming nations to the Muslim oil states, that now the profligate and ignorant and timid West is spending still more billions and tens and hundreds of billions. Western governments are spending all this money in the mistaken hope that "poverty" is what makes the "Palestinians" or any other Muslim Arabs insistent on waging war. It is not "poverty." It is Islam.

The Infidels refuse to take Islam seriously. This incredible offer shows it. Utter folly. It disgusts. It maddens.

The west can't see that by sacrificing Israel on the altar of the oil sheikhs, they're only speeding up their own demise.

Will they ever get it? And if they do, will it be too late to act?

I'll give it no more than 10 years before Arabic is the 2nd language of all western countries, including the USA... Europe is already well down that road.

why not send those millions to real refugees in south sudan and other places where muslim on infidal violence has left created refugees. why not give those millions to the hindu pandits from kashmir who reside in real tents in north india? or the tibetans who were driven out of their country by the chinese? or those poor thais who are forced to flee from islam dominated regions of thailand? the cash could be used by these people and they will be grateful for it instead of giving it to the ungrateful wretched arabs of west bank.

Thanks, Hugh, once again for another wonder synopsis of the issue at hand.

This whole thing just makes my blood boil! Just how stupid is the West by sending another $1.4b (minimum) Jizyah to the stupid and ignorant Palestinians ("Muslim Invaders")

I have protested to my elected Congressman and both Senators about this new Jizyah payment.

I encourage everyone else to do the same.

Here's what I said:
---------------------------------------------------
Honorable Senator Richard Lugar,

Sir,

I wish to register my sincere disgust with the United States governments decision to donate $555 million to the Palestinian Authority this past Monday in Paris. I will not speak for all other "donor" countries, but I find this extremely distressful that my tax dollars are being spent to SUPPORT an illegitimate government that desires and seeks the destruction of a fully democratic, legitimate, and peaceful society -- Israel, and by proxy, the United States.

When, Sir, is the United States government going to stop bending to a small minority of peoples demanding that the West support and defend them from the "evil" Israelis, when they themselves can NOT even put up the most basic pretense of a "civilized" government.

Where has all the other money gone, that we the West, have "donated" them? Is there any accounting of this money? I would say NO!

If the Arab world, i.e., the Saudis and Egyptians and Jordanians and Syrians, are so concerned about about the poor, destitute, demoralized Palestinians, then why did Saudi Arabia only pony up $500m?

I'm sorry, but this single, little Hoosier understands the "big picture". I read the news. I keep informed.

Please, Sir, stop this travesty now. NO MONEY, NO AID, NO RECOGINITION to the Palestinian Authority!!!!

I eagerly await your response.

Thank you.
--------------------------------------------------

Please, please, everyone, say NO to this travesty and stop this aid/donation/Jizyah

Remember the Great 2004 Tsunami that hit mostly Muslim countries near Indonesia. Muslim countries gave very little to their co-religionists while Western and Christian countries gave so much they could not use all the money right away. It was only after the Muslim countries were shamed that the Saudis started to give.

They have no real love for their own people and less for us. Their own Muslim people are just fodder for the Jihad. We must push to allow people to leave their religions so Muslims can flee this evil religion.

Hugh,

You have put forth again, another absolutely spot on, perfectly analytical, and more importantly, irrefutably accurate and true comment here.

The question is, and I personally feel, has been for awhile, is why don't you, Hugh Fitzgerald, dare to leave the confines and comforts of this well-controlled pedagogical site, what we all thankfully call home, and branch out?

I cannot speak for you Hugh, or the availablity of your time, but I am inclined to ask the question that others have put forth...Why not do more Hugh?

Your ability to write, and I assume, to speak, are nearly unmatched here at this pedagogical site. Your privacy and the desire to keep it, along with your anonymity, is your own choice, but knowing full-well the sacrifise that Robert has made, and continues to make, where is Arthur's Sir Lancelot?

You are more than capable. EVERYONE here knows that. What is your situation that prevents you from doing so?

Regards,

awake

James,

Excellent observation about how Saudi Arabia feels about fellow Muslim countries. So true.

Perhaps if the United States could have used the $555m allotment to establish a nation-wide "Anti-Islam" campaign, then I would say that money would have been better spent.

Saudi barbaria, kuwait and other islamic paradise don't give a shit about their muslim pals in palistine. But they are very eager to help out citibank and other companies suffering from subprime crisis by taking large stakes in these companies.

They want the infidel governments to give out money to philistine and other islamic shitholes while that money could easily be used for other constructive ways such as helping out banks suffering from subprime mess and finding ways by which infidels can get free from their dependence on islamic oil.

Rich of course from the Oil that was RIGHT BENEATH THEIR FEET and they were too stupid to be able to find it KAFFIRS did and of course no Arab or Muslim ever invented anything that Oil could be used for either.

"I'll give it no more than 10 years before Arabic is the 2nd language of all western countries, including the USA... Europe is already well down that road."

Like it is in Israel? How about English being the second language in all Islamic conutries, including Arabia in 10 years...they are already well down the track.

"....so dangerous for Israel's survival, that they can never or should never be met?"

So fixated in the mendacity of Islam , everything is seen through the len of this fixation. So donations are now an 'extorted' tax- Dhimmi's paying a Jizyah! Of course the donations are freely given ( by a 'non-protected' people or has there been an invisible coup , B. Hussein Obama hasnt been elected yet has he?), they have an accountable purpose and Israel is hardly demanding this aid be stopped since they contribute aid themselves. Not to mention the fact that the Arabs are also contributing a donation. ( That is undercuts the silliness of what is being put forward is ignored... after all are the Saudi Arab's Dhimmis too?)

So 'aid' that has Israels support is said to be 'dangerous' to its survival? I think Israel , being part of this dispute , well rooted it its history , with much to lose , which can ill afford a policy error - an "own goal" if you like , knows what is best for its long term future.
