President of Al-Quds University in Jerusalem: Jews will not be allowed in Palestinian state

In this Dr. Sari Nusseibeh goes farther even than Hamas. Hamas spokesmen have discussed restoring the dhimma and charging the jizya to Jews and Christians in a Palestinian state. But Nusseibeh wouldn't even allow Jews in.

"Palestinian Researcher Dr. Sari Nusseibeh on the Return of Palestinian Refugees," from MEMRI (thanks to Cinnamon Stillwell):

Following are excerpts from an interview with Dr. Sari Nusseibeh, Dean of Al-Quds University, which aired on Al-Jazeera TV on November 30, 2007:

[...]

The Israelis now living in the territories of the future Palestinian state should return to living within the borders of the state of Israel. No Jew in the world, now or in the future, as a result of this document, will have the right to return, to live, or to demand to live in Hebron, in East Jerusalem, or anywhere in the Palestinian state.

Does that mean no Arabs or Muslims in Israel?

This should be used by Israel as a reason to expel ALL Muslims from Israel... tit for tat.

Unfortunately, Hamas wont have to follow up on Nusseibeh's threat regarding Hebron. The Israeli government has already done it for them. As for East Jerusalem, it looks like arch-dhimmi Ehud Olmert is planning to make it free of Jews and Christians by his traitorous policies.

You can count on the Israeli government to pretend no one said anything; it didn't happen. Otherwise, they would have to face an unpleasant reality they had a hand in fashioning.

What makes this outrageous but perfectly believable remark, by a so-called "Palestinian," of such note is that the utterer is one Sari Nusseibeh, supposedly the most "moderate" and "reasonable" -- because he is "Oxford-educated" (the epithet is Homeric, in Nusseibeh's case) and scion of one of those Arab families of Jerusalem, and left-wing Israelis, Peace-Nowists, and so on, have always loved Sari Nusseibeh. His declaration that part of the original territory specifically allocated to Mandatory Palestine, which was specifically set up for the creation of the Jewish National Home, is unacceptable. But will those Israelis, and American Jews, who fell all over themselves singing the praises of Sari Nuseibeh now see that all such hopes were false, that in the end (just as in Iraq), whenever Infidels put their hopes on this or that individual, those hopes will be dashed. It is Islam that matters. Nuseibeh is simply being a good and dutiful Muslim. And thank god he has fully revealed himself right now, and not after the idiotic Israelis (surely there is a limit, even for Olmert, Livni, and the unbelievable Haim Ramon) give away more and more of what they have no right to give away.

The Nuseibehs are not as prominent as the Khalidis, the Nashashibis, and slightly lower down on the phylogenetic scale, the Husseinis, the leading Arab families of Jerusalem -- the ones whom many of the British in the Mandatory Authority found so attractive because they were so obsequious, in contradistinction to those noisy, un-obsequious East European Jews who were, in addition, devoid of the local color that those Arabs in their keffiyehs or burnooses offered in such abundance. Of course, there were a few who sided, correctly, with the Jews, a few who remained immune to antisemitism because they knew the history of the West, knew the history of the West as part of that history, and knew what the Jews had meant to Western civilization -- and they knew their Bible. These men included Colonel John Henry Patterson, who early on helped train the Palestine Legion, and Colonel Meinertzhagen, who was an intelligence officer on General Allenby's staff, and Captain Orde Wingate, who was forced to leave Mandatory Palestine because he had the poor taste to actually train Jews in the art of self-defense when they were being attacked constantly by marauding Arabs in the 1930s, and then back in London, there was the inimitable Wyndham Deedes, and in Parliament ther was Josiah Wedgewood, and Winston Churchill, who yelled to high heaven about the "betrayal" of the Jews by the British government, not least when the White Paper of 1939, limiting Jewish immigration to 15,000 a year for five years (at a time of the greatest peril), was proposed. These people were not the kind to be impressed by those Arab notables, nor if they were alive today, would they be taken in by the likes of "Oxford-educated" Sari Nusseibeh, or for that matter Tariq Ramadan.

Even the most "moderate" and outwardly acceptable of Slow Jihadists, the kind who can smile, who can speak nearly-native English, turn out, in the end, to be loyal to Islam, loyal to the demand that, little by little, the Infidel nation-state must be destroyed. If the Israelis lose military control of the "West Bank," lose control that is of the traditiional invasion route from the East, they will be unable to defend themselves. That's it. And if they lose control of the aquifers, the Muslims can interfere with, divert, or even poison, the water on which Israelis depend. They must throw out the haim-ramons and the ehud-olmerts, and vote in those who know what the legal, historic, and moral claims of Israel are, and will state them, firmly, instead of fearfully worrying, like the Israeli government preventing the tapes showing the Egyptians helping Hamas from being shown to members of the American Congress, about offending the people who, in Egypt and among the "Palestinians," would gladly see them dead and their country destroyed, never to be rebuilt again.

And the big subject that no one will touch, the subject of Islam, and the Hate Whose Name We Dare Not Speak, must be talked about -- to save Israel, and to save, as well, the rest of the threatened Infidel world. The first Israeli leader to talk about the Jihad against Israel, and about the attempt to disguise that Jihad, so far quite successful, as a "nationalist" struggle by the recently-invented "Palestinian people," is the one who will help save the people and state of Israel. And they deserve such a leader. They do not deserve what they currently have for "leaders" or, as they say so often in America today, "people taking a leadership role."

Some of you may remember me here as "HG" and "HGII", about three years ago.

I've been lurking, all that time, reading, but not posting -- but now, I'm back!

A future palestinian state?. How about the existing one - Jordan?

Alas, foreign aid can buy troves of rockets, bullets and bombs. That will be the palestinian industry and "trade" built with the infidels 7 Billion dollars.

Anyway, upon the establishment of any palestinian state, with Jews expelled, of course, it won't be 6 months before the Israelis will be forced to invade it and take parts of it back, out of self defense, being completely irritated over the rockets fired across the new border.

Peace with Jews does not exist, in their duty.

Er, any bets?

Looks like "the right of return" only works one way. As usual, the Islamaniacs want to have their cake and eat it too.

Posted by: ISLAMSFORLOSERS [TypeKey Profile Page] at December 21, 2007 10:45 PM

OH COME ON ... The transcript is incomplete , It deals with the right of return and is probably an expression of frustration by Dr Sari , that Palestinian right of return will (obviously) not be granted to Israel - hence the "tit for tat". Any way Arafat had already declared a Jew free future State anyhow. Dr. Sari Nusseibeh is hardly a spokeperson for the PA , the PA is so unlikely to ever be a functional state so the point is moot , and any Jewish settler wanting to remain if a State does evolve ..would be suicidal.

Nobody will be allowed in a Palestinian state but radical Muslims. They are taking care of Palestinian Christians as we speak. They've been killing Muslims suspected of collaboration for a while now too. What a nice state it will be.

The world says yes, to ethnic cleaning.

Funny how things have changed. Years ago all the euros, Americas, Africans, and Asians were up in arms over the whites of South Africa and Rhodesia denying the blacks their rights as citizens of those countries. "No apartheid" the world said, lets all live together in a multicultural, multi race societies.
But look now the world is giving billions of dollars to people who want ethnic cleaning of the Jews from where they live and subjection of the Christians. And not a peep of protest from the rest of the world including the US. These so called palastinians commit one outrage over another but the money keeps flowing in.

It is instructive to compare this article with the following story from the 'Jerusalem Post', December 19 2007, entitled "Catholic leader rejects Jewish state" -

http://www.jpost.com/servlet/Satellite?cid=1196847383057&page

The renowned Islamochristian, Michael Sabbah, denounces the idea that Israel should be a 'Jewish' state - while, it appears, cheerfully swallowing the camel that is any number of declared 'Islamic' states around the world that explicitly, to greater or lesser degree, derive their law from Muslim sharia law. He appears to forget that to be a Jew is a national/ethnic AS WELL AS, MUCH OF THE TIME a religious identity.

Arab nationalism is fine, it seems - even when it extends, as in the article Robert has presented for our attention, to the total exclusion of Jews from a projected 'Palestinian' Arab [Muslim-dominated] state, a state that would probably identify itself as Islamic and derive much of its civil law from sharia.

Yet Jewish nationalism, it appears, is racist, and ANY identification of the state of Israel as 'Jewish', and the land of Israel as the national AND religious homeland of the Jewish people, Sabbah appears to think, would be ipso facto discriminatory against Christians and Muslims!

(Now let's have a little think. Where would one prefer to live as a Christian? In Gaza today, where Christian bookseller Rami Ayyad was murdered by Muslim thugs? or Egypt, where Muslim gangs kidnap and rape Coptic Christian girls? or the pure Islamic state of Pakistan, where Muslim gangs rob christian farmers with impunity? ...or, perhaps, in Haifa, in that EEEVIIIL Jewish state, where all are basically equal before the law, and the Christian population is growing, not falling?).

Jolly good then. Following the same mentality, Muslims should leave Europe and America, and get back to Saudi Arabia, from which Islam came. Deal?

Posted by: Crusader [TypeKey Profile Page] at December 22, 2007 7:56 AM

Dumbledoresarmy,

The good news is that Sabbah reaches mandatory retirement age next year and Pope Benedict has been pushing him to retire early. It is expected that the pope will appoint Father Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Franciscan Custodian of the Holy Land, as the next Latin Patriarch. Father Pizzaballa is a true voice for the interests of Palestinian Christians and understands the threat of Islam to both the Christians and to Israel.

If you are interested in a Catholic information site that will give you a true perspective by and about Palestinian Christians and not the dhimmi view put out by Sabbah and his ilk, check out:

That is another reason for No Palestinian State!

Posted by: unicorns62000 [TypeKey Profile Page] at December 22, 2007 5:07 PM

This is the Moslem dynamic. Crows lined up on the fence, squawking. Should the Jews be allowed in to be able to pay the jizya, or not, or maybe some supernegotiated combination thereof. Squawk, squawk, squawk.

Only a deluded fool could give a damn about such nonsense. Speaking of which, has anybody seen Condi lately?

Posted by: Alarmed Pig Farmer [TypeKey Profile Page] at December 22, 2007 6:29 PM

I understand that the late King Hussein had enough of the restive Palestinians, and in 1980 10,000 or more were killed by his government due to threats from these disloyal subjects. Therefore, it's unlikely that Jordan would accept Palestinians back.

The "right of return" is nonsense. Too bad, so sad, you left your homes and lost the war in 1948. Millions of persons have been displaced by wars over history; this situation is interesting in that the areas abandoned by the Palis were developed by Israel, and the Palis want their former homes back so they can quickly reduce them to rubble.

Israel is referred to as " an apartheid state".
What a joke.
