"Elderly Burned Convert Dies In Bangladesh," from BosNewsLife (thanks to Religion of Peace):
DHAKA, BANGLADESH (BosNewsLife)-- Christian villagers in a Muslim-majority area of Bangladesh on Tuesday, February 5, mourned the death of a 70-year-old woman who died from burns she suffered when a mob reportedly set her home ablaze as a punishment for converting from Islam to Christianity.Rahima Beoa, who was planning to be baptized on February 13 in Cinatuly village in Rangpur district, 248 kilometers (154 miles) northwest of the capital Dhaka, suffered burns on at least 70 percent of her body, local villagers said. Suspected Muslim extremists set their home, made from bamboo and wood, ablaze on January 7, while she and her 9-year-old grand child were sleeping, reported Compass Direct News, a Christian news agency.
The pastor of the local evangelical Isha-e-Jamat (Jesus’ Church) Bangladesh denomination, Abdul Mabud Chowdhury, reportedly said that the mob was also upset that Beoa’s daughter and son-in-law, 40-year-old Ashraful Islam, converted to Christianity and about their involvement in evangelistic efforts.
A lack of access to adequate medical care was believed to have contributed to Beoa's death on Friday, February 1. No relatives or neighbors allegedly came to put out the fire and the family reportedly also lost two head of cattle in one corner of the structure.

I dunno, guys. I'm thinkin' Bangladesh? Adequate medical care? Third world Hell hole. Probably not gonna find it if I am a needful Muslim, either. But I guess its all Insh'allah, you know?

CTYankee: I think it was General Pershing...and this is probably a myth, who captured Filipino Muslims and shot all but one, burying the others in pigskins, and letting the other return to his fellow believers...and General Pershing stopped having problems with Muslims in the Philipines.

Jauhara: I've read that story, too, but can't say if it's a myth or not. According to what I've read, Pershing captured 50 muslim insurgents during the Phillipine insurrection, had all but one shot with lard-dipped bullets, buried them with pig body parts, and let the one guy go. Number of muslim terrorist attacks in response to these executions: zero.

Christians burn 70-year-old women to death for leaving the religion all the time. So do Jews, Hindus, and Buddhists. Everybody burns old women to death for apostasy. We are all the same. All religions teach the same values. Praying to one god is the same as praying to any other god. All people share the same goals.

Is it bad when nothing shocks me anymore? Nothing a muslim does shocks me anymore. Words fail me. In fact, there is nothing I can find to say that could describe a muslim. There is nothing in our dictionary that even comes close to the truth of describing a muslim.

The animals may have burned her to death but they couldn't stop her from becoming a Christian because when Christ asked her, this brave lady said yes.

The mob was upset. The mob was upset so they set this lady's house on fire. Is there anyone left out there who really gives a flying flip if Muslim mobs get upset? One good fire hose could certainly motivate a change in their attitude.

It's just astonishing to me that this can happen and there is not a peep in the media about it, but Allah forbid that a filthy infidel touches a koran without gloves -- THAT gets headlines every time, those poor innocent terrorists in Gitmo, having their korans torn up or thrown in toilets.
How can this be happening? How is it that a 70 yr old convert from Islam to Christianity can be killed by a rabid mob in the same day and age that CAIR and the like can make people in the West think that we are PERSECUTING and OPPRESSING muslims left and right?
Where is the freaking outrage?? If this situation were reversed, muslims - all 7 gazillion of them on the planet - would be out in droves, seething and rioting over it. Why is it that all we have is a bunch of us enlightened souls, a pitiful minority in our world, making comments over it online? Why is it that we can't seem to organize and SHOUT and make our own outrage heard? Y'all, we really need to do MORE.

How conforting to know that this religion/cult is totally worthless as it doesn't change their hearts and minds towards becomeing BETTER human beings, insteads infuses them with hatred and evil... Just as Jesus said: 'A tree is known by its fruit." I don't believe in religion yet I find that extremeli insightful, so yes, Islam is a rotten system that must be torn down, the last option would be nuking all Muslim countries just to reduce the numbers of their rabid followers but that is a measure of last resort.

I've been thinking about Qur'ans quite a bit, lately. I'm considering making up business cards to tuck into every one I see in a bookstore, which read: "This Qur'an has been fondled by a filthy, ungloved Kafur."

Where is the outrage in the Muslim world? Aren't all the moderates shocked and horrified?
Or is this alright because the seventy year old woman was an apostate? That doesn't seem very moderate to me.

Well, there is a Los vom Islam going on, and this burning won't stop it. That elderly martyred sister is now in heaven thanks to the atoning blood of Christ and his glorious resurrection. Her tormentors, unless they repent and follow her to believe in Christ, have called a harsh judgment on themselves.
