"MP to Hizb ut-Tahrir: 'Go to hell,'" from The Copenhagen Post (thanks to all who sent this in):
In an uncharacteristic move, Villy Søvndal, leader of the Socialist People's Party, responded to the Islamist group Hizb ut-Tahrir's demonstration last Friday, by severely criticising them in his blog.He stated in his blog that the group was to 'seek other pastures' and that their 'undertakings had no perspective, nor future, in Denmark'.
In an interview with Jyllands-Posten newspaper, he continued to lash out at the extremist group whose demonstration had delivered a direct threat towards Danish society, telling them to 'go to hell'.
'If they want to live in a religious dictatorship so badly, they can go to those countries in the Middle East where such dictatorships exist,' he said.
They won't, however. They will keep on trying to set one up in Denmark. Will Søvndal join the Resistance?

Hurray!
"The hostile tone of the demonstration has had Pia Kjærsgaard launching a new proposal in parliament to ban the controversial group, but Søvndal said he did not want them banned.
'Instead of turning them into martyrs with a ban, they must be put in the spotlight. It would expose their completely ridiculous views,' he said."
"About the meeting, Søvndal said: 'It is strange that religious representatives should be given preferential treatment in a secular democracy. If the minister wanted to speak with ethnic minorities, she could have spoken with members of city council who were democratically elected.'"
One more reason to love Denmark!

If the case of a "socialist," or someone considered to be on the left standing up to Islam merits the headline "Man Bits Dog," then by now wewould have had a good many such headlines. There would have been such a headline for Pim Fortuyn. Another for Theo van Gogh. Another for Ayaan Hirsi Ali. Another for Oriana Fallaci. Two others for such unveilers of Tariq Ramadan as Caroline Fourest and Paul Berman.
Whole lot of men biting a whole lot of dogs, apparently.

All of this ISLAMIC 'doctrine' of 'religious' hate towards 'unbelievers', has its source in the Koran & Hadith.
What i wish to ask the leaders in our Western communities is; Why isn't the Koran & Hadith banned in the West, as being clear sources of incitement, of culture related hatred?
And why are mosques, not closed and banned in the West, and recognised as places where *political* hatred is inculcated, organised, and disseminated, ....among a people who have themselves declared, that they do not wish to integrate into the wider non-muslim community?
I am happy for people who [lawfully] come from muslim nations, to come to live in Western nations, if they are willing, and happy, live here, to work here, and are willing to accept and respect our un-ISLAMIC laws, and our un-ISLAMIC culture.
But if people [even locally born people] cannot accept our un-ISLAMIC laws, and our un-ISLAMIC culture, and have no intention, of accepting our un-ISLAMIC laws, and an un-ISLAMIC culture, .....then logically, wouldn't many of these people be happier to move to, and to live in a country which more closely reflected the *politics* of their own 'world view'?
[That is, instead of following their current determination [within non-muslim nations], of fostering national sedition, with an intent to *politically* impose an 'alien' culture among, and upon, non-muslim people.]
After all, isn't this same respect [of their own ISLAMIC 'culture'] insisted upon, when we [non-muslims] travel to 'ISLAMIC' nations?
A UK ex-muslim, who converted to Christianity declares, describes, muslims thus....
“They [muslims] are such hypocrites — they want us to be tolerant of everything they want,
but they are intolerant of everything about us.”

It would behoove the Muslims to consider that humans rarely get sick from dogs. Rabies is the biggest problem and that problem is easily controlled. We are more likely to get sick from livestock and fowl that are raised for food.

thanks so much for that link. Browsing around in the materials, I was able to find a very useful quote from Patrick Sookhdeo, re. Tariq Ramadan, which I will be able to use when I write to my Prime Minister and to my Foreign Minister to request that Tariq Ramadan's visa to enter Australia in March, should be revoked.
As for the posted article above:
perhaps Holger Dansker IS awakening.
It would be downright beautiful if tiny little Denmark were to be the worm that turned, the pebble that begins the anti-Jihad avalanche.

What makes Denmark special is that it's one of the few European countries were nationalism is NOT taboo. After WW2 and the immense destruction that the extreme nationalism of Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy and other copycat puppet fascist regimes around occupied Europe, nationalism had been throughly discredited in most countries. But Denmark was an exception; Why?
For two reasons, first af all the German occupation didn't do Denmark as much damage in terms of material destruction and loss of life as it did in most of the other countries under the German yoke. This is due to the lack of major combat operations in Denmark, the country is small, with no natural obstacles, like huge steppes, mountains or forests, who can stop an invader. When the Danish MP's in the morning of the 9th of april 1940 was summoned to be informed that the Germans had attacked the country, the German soldiers had already landed in Copenhagen and were fighting with the Danish royal guards just a few blocks away from the parliament! In fact the German invasion on that day looks more like a military coup than an invasion, where on a specific date, all important government and military installations are assaulted and/or surrounded. The commander of the Danish military estimated that if the Danish army did it's utmost to resist the invader it might be able to fight for 3-5 days at the very most. After a meeting in the morning of that day, the politicians decided to surrender. Orders were given for the Danish military units who were still fighting around the country to lay down their arms, which happened during the day as the orders reached them. By contrast in Norway, who was invaded on the same day, they decided to fight on and gave the Germans a lot of trouble, it took them several months to gain control of that country. However Norway is also one of the most difficult countries to conquer in the world due to it's mountains and long, outstreched geography. Then followed 5 years of occupation with limited destruction and loss of life due to a mix of reasons, like the nazi race theories which placed the Danes pretty high on the scale and thus made the Germans treat the Danes less ruthlessly than say, the Poles or the Russians and the cooperation with the Germans in the first years of the war ect. In 1945 the Germans surrendered just south of the Danish border so there was no direct fighting on Danish soil to liberate the country either. So the Danish experiences with the German brand of ultra nationalism, the Nazi regime, was less severe than it was in other countries.
The second reason is that in Denmark, Danish nationalism was instrumental in saving the Jewish community whereas nationalism in other countries in Europe came to it's expression by helping the Germans killing the Jews, because it fed on an old preexisting jewhatred in those countries. In Denmark however anti-semitism was virtually unknown, the Jews living there were Danes like the rest of the population. So when the Nazi's tried to deport the Jewish community in Denmark, it backfired. Helping the Danish Jews - nicknamed the 'Viking Jews' due to their Danishness - escape to safety in neutral Sweden became a way of showing defiance against the Germans. The fact that the country was still largely intact and hadn't been destroyed like so many other countries at the time probably also helped making the escape of the Jews possible. A true Dane would help his Jewish countrymen, because they were in fact Danish like himself. So the rescue in 1943 was as much a nationalistic act as it was a humanitarian one, a way for a small, humiliated peopel to recover from the shame of occupation and surrender and 'fight' against the Germans since they had no weapons to do it with. From the BBC:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=skocUzic4Ls
To this day Danes express their nationalism more openly than other European countries and are thus often called 'racists' or 'extremists'. However I believe this is a misunderstanding of the Danish mentality. The Danish nationalism isn't more nor is it less extreme that it was normal in Europe before the Nazi's came around and screwed up everything and made any kind of nationalism taboo with their excesses.
I guess compared to peopel who have no pride at all, the Danes seem extreme...

"Why isn't the Koran & Hadith banned in the West?"
Because they're so obviously deeply bigoted, racist and violent works. We need to expose them and teach everyone that following these books is a Bad Idea.
As for comparing to other left-wingers standing up against Jihad, this *is* an important change. Villy Søvndal is the leader of a significant socialist party (13 % - 23 parliament seats) and holds a commanding role in what can be said openly and what cannot.
The Muslims in Denmark are scrambling to come up with a somewhat useful response to this. A new Islamic organisation excluding the radicals is being formed, which is useful. They can have some nice internal struggles.
A related is that the whining of most Muslim spokesperson is being exposed, and rejected, in public debates. After two weeks of Intifada, we're so pissed with Muslims that we routinely hint them to go home if they get out of line. It's their choice - either they accept democracy and free speech, or they identify with a backwards religion and should find an appropriate totalitarian state to live in.

It is a pity that most of you who read this Blogg cannot read Danish because the article on Villy's blogg was a humdinger. He had had over 500 comments the last time I took a look all of them positive he even got one from Iran of all places. Considering the fact that Denmark has a population 1/60th of the American population it is the equivalent of Dimmi Watch getting 30,000 comment over one article. It was not just Villy who was in full voice. The Prime Minister said on the the news that the leader of the Danish version of CAIR was talking with two tongues that muslims should get out of victim mode get an education and a job as there were plenty about at the moment. Simple put, stop lieing stop whining, get a job.
The riots have also got the Danes rilled up and there is talk of making the parents pay for the damage done by their kids and kick them out of there house if they continue to cause trouble. Opinion polls show that 70% of the Danes are in favor of it.
Pia Kjærsgaard of the Danish peoples party and Naser Khader of the New Alliance party have been having meeting on how to get rid of the Blasphemy laws . Hopefully this will happen sometime this year. We have also seen other muslim organizations distancing themselves from the Danish version of CAIR. The only ominous sign I saw in Denmark was the march of over 3,000 muslims marching and shouting through Norrbro. I have never seen so many black flags. I am certain its significance was not missed by the Danish authorities.
What should not be missed by the readers of this esteemed blogg, is that during Moontoon crisis mark I you had 11 muslim countries lead by Egypt demanding that the Prime Minister of Denmark receive a delegation, of there ambassadors so that they could accept his apologies and bow down to the superiority of their culture. Accept Dimmi status. This time Egypt has limited itself to lodging a protest with the Danish Ambassador in Egypt. There is talk of boycott but it will lead to nothing, it backfired last time and it is a certainty that it would fail again this time.
Generally seen it has not been a bad result for Denmark. My only complaint is that my country of birth has not shown the testicular fortitude to stand up to muslim blackmail. But then England is not what it used to be.
at February 22, 2008 8:59 AM
Holger Dansker:
But then England is not what it used to be.
Correct. Nationalism is frowned upon in the UK because it is mistakenly equated to fascism by the dhimmi clowns in Parliament. Unfortunately, a lack of both national pride and the will to defend one's culture constitute ideal conditions for Islamification to thrive.
The UK mainland remained unoccupied by the Nazis because back then we had national unity and leaders with balls. Now we have neither.

Why shouldn't socialists oppose Islam? A true socialist would abhor it's misogyny, violence, wars of exapansion, fanaticism and ignorance it engenders. If socialists want to stick up for oppressed others, they are fooling themselves into thinking that Muslims aren't the most oppressive people these days.

"Why shouldn't socialists oppose Islam?"
There's absolutely no reason they shouldn't. Traditionally, they've been very hard on religions and using all kinds of sharp rationality to tear it apart.
Perhaps the magnitude of the Islamic irrationality is overwhelming? They should have a field day ripping up all that superstition.
It's good that others than us conservatives now have fun doing this. Fun is for everyone, not just us.

The Tipping Point has arrived in Denmark! If all we view is the seemingly endless grueling marathon of counter jihad ahead, then it's easy to wallow in despair. Here's another concept, the myth of linearity. Linearity projects what is going on right now indefinitely into the future leading to a malaise of gloom and doom. Reality check. History repeats itself because it runs in cycles. The cycle of seemingly unstoppable ascendancy of islamic supremacism has thru its innate arrogance started a counter cycle that is clearly gaining momentum. This is not a reason for complacency. Instead it is vital that we all cherish hopeful signs such as Sovndal speaking out against sharia in Denmark. Remember emotion is motion with an 'e'. Stay in forward motion!

'If they want to live in a religious dictatorship so badly, they can go to those countries in the Middle East where such dictatorships exist,' he said.

This is very encouraging. If a socialist speaks the truth about this, then he will influence other socialists.
Maybe we will finally see a popular uprising against the jihad.
I'm encouraged!

I'd really like to see the 11 arrogant muslim ambassadors come to Denmark and demand an apology, and instead get thoroughly put in their place. Especially if it is all caught on video and put on YouTube.

A poll conducted by a government agency in October 2006 showed most Egyptians viewed Denmark as a hostile state, second only to Israel, which fought four wars with Egypt.

"Will Søvndal join the Resistance?"
By any measure, he just did. He's a public person in a key position, and did what such persons do best - make a strong public statement. That enables everyone else to say "Get in line or scram."
Which in turn is very 'insulting' for those believing in the Quranic words of conquest.
As I mentioned before, the eternal whining of Muslim commentators is laid bare, and we're now systematically telling them "Shut up or put up." On his blog, prime minister Anders Fogh made a clear statement on this.
It's a battle won, though by no means the entire struggle. And I hope our friends abroad will quote the socialists and the general Danish unity on Islamists and insurgency.

What lay ahead, may be a 'grueling marathon', but at the moment many people [especially political leaders in the West], seem to be people who are 'fat and lazy', sitting at home watching TV, with a beer in hand.
And it would seem that they have not yet, submitted their 'marathon' applications, and it would *seem*, that they have absolutely no intention to do so!
The course of the Jihad, so far, has had the desired effect.
