This is sick. How can we justify this continuing support of the PA when they have a stated charter that does not recognize Israel? Oh yeah, I forgot... they're the "moderates".

Come on, US. These fellows do not even want a state of their own. They want to destroy Israel, then rule brutally without responsibility like in Gaza.

Every penny going in that direction is a help to that cause. What we need to do is to make the help *strictly* conditional on no more attacks, be it by Fatah or rouge groups, and a complete uprooting of teaching hatred towards Jews and Israel.

The leaders are holding their population hostage in this game, and the MSM frequently plays along. It's pretty sick.

That's nothing. In Kosovo last two days NATO troops are fighting against Serbs on behalf of illegal muslim Albanian terrorist "state". They are killing my people because of Saudi money... One boy was shoot by sniper he is still in coma and another lost his eye. Hundred people are wounded.

I have 1 1/2 more months until I get retired and I am going to spend a number of hours a day emailing our politicians. There is no reason why we should be overtaxed just to pay muslims while muslims should be doing this themselves.

they take our money and buy more bombs. They form a joke of a government and vote in terrorists. And the first thing our donkeys in Congress do, and that is including Bush it seems, is to want to give more of our tax money to muslims.

There is nothing in the US Constitution that allows for jizya payments or foreign aid for that matter.
The national wealth is created by the sweat of the taxpayers. The gov should have no right to force the American taxpayer to support any other country, period. Why should I be forced donate my life's energy and sweat to the support of savages, Islamic or otherwise. And how dare this government think they 'own' it to give away. They have been doing this long enough, I am mad as h-ll, and I'm not going to take it any more.

When things like this happen, it just makes it that much harder to win the "war on terror", doesn't it? Funding your enemies is not the most logical place to start.

I am all for giving the Palestinians this very badly needed aid, I would only put one tiny little string on it. Number one, the aid - double it if you like- will be paid in a years time. The aid would also be reduced by a million $ for every qassam rocket fired into Israel in the meantime. In fact, promise them $500 million for the year thereafter, it is a win-win situation all round. They will either stop attacking Israel, and the US can cut military aid or they will
carry on regardless, in which case the US can be the innocent party who tried their best to help, but were rebuffed.

Palestinians cannot survive on sustenance agriculture and are not suited to any kind of modern economic activity. They are sustained by money from the two sources: Israel (employment, tax transfers) and America and Western Europe (UN refugee payments and direct assistance to the Palestinian government). Had it not been for Israel and America, the Palestinian problem would long have gone, along with the Palestinians. They would die out, breed less, or emigrate. Israel would have to deal with paltry network of Arab villages rather than the bulging state burning with hatred.

Palestinian refugee camps are the unique formations. In no other country are the refugees almost forcibly kept for three generations in the camps, unemployed, on the UN welfare, allowed great leisure to develop hatred and tactical capabilities.

The way to stop the war with Palestinians is simple: stop financing it.

I spend time ever year in the Palestinian Territories (West Bank), and trust me, the PALESTINIANS really are in need of aid; however, the "government," as we all know is a corrupt, thieving, pirating, destructive force a/g their own people. I happen to love the Palestinians that I have had the honor of meeting and growing close to, and it infuriates me that we are not given accountability of the money we send, and that we even send cash. What is even more outrageous to me, is what is America, supposedly a Christian country, doing to help the plight of the Christian Palestinians that are suffering not only from the Muslims there, but from the Jews as well?

I don't care if the "Palestinians" are "really in need of aid" or not. So are alot of people. These are the same needy "Palestinians" that jump for joy when infidels are murdered.

As for the last statement, saving the "Palestinian" Christians from Muslims and "Jews"....the Muslim part is pretty self explanatory....but what are the Jew's doing to the Christian "Palestinians" thats so horrible that requires US assistance?

While in Israel for two weeks beginning 3/04 I heard from many Arabs how grateful they were that they lived in Israel and not the territories. In Israel they had a job and a future. These were people on the street, cab drivers and shop keepers. Granted I don't go there every year but it was a more hopeful senario than the Palestinians have thanks to their own officials and hateful ideology. All they have to do is make peace. That won't happen ever with Islam holding it's sword over everyone.

I will be suggesting to my government that the Saudi's are better suited to helping their own Muslim people out of the delimma forced on them by other arab states, all hoping this will destroy Israel. There are too many of us determined that they will not succeed. Christians are working there to help both Jews and Palestinian Christians. I refuse to assist people that want me and my children dead.

It would appear that GWB is desperately trying to forge his legacy to read: "I have regained the respect of the islamic world by arming savages, abandoning allies (Serbs), betraying Israel, and giving billions in American tax dollars to ungrateful, islamic barbarians." No matter how much we pour into Iraq, Afghanistan, the Palestinian territories, and Kosovo, the malicious, malevolent, savage muslims are going to hate our guts! What a tragic waste of money we don't have. God help our children and grandchildren.

This just makes me want to scream and cry all at once. What has become of our putative "leadership"? All they do in Washington is spend like there is no tomorrow, even with the economy getting worse every day. I never used to worry about money or failing banks, but I'm getting scared. When we're all broke, who will they tax to finance their insane giveaway schemes? Why do we owe those people ANYTHING? WHY?!!!!!

I cannot believe that the people running our country actually believe they can buy the affections of our avowed enemies. There is only one thing these people understand and that is unrestrained, merciless force. They use the charity so generously bestowed upon them by the civilized world to buy weapons and bombs to use against us. I just can't believe this!
