Pakistan: Jihadists attack girls' primary school

Registering an objection to the education of girls. "Security forces find 58 bodies in Kohat: Girls’ primary school attacked in Darra," from the Daily Times (thanks to Twostellas):

...School attacked: Meanwhile, militants blew up the gate of a girls’ primary school in the semi-tribal Darra Adam Khel area late on Saturday, a Daily Times staff report quoted local sources as saying.

They said that the explosives were planted at the school’s gate and exploded at around 11pm on Saturday, damaging it. However, the school building remained safe and no causalities were reported.

Militants also blew up a checkpost near Tandi Kalai late on Saturday. The checkpost was unoccupied at the time.

Security forces also defused two bombs in the Sherakai area, which appeared intended to blow up a bridge.

Can't have the girls reading and learning, can we? They might start questioning the Qur'an........chaos would follow.

come on now, according to the UN we can't equate islam and violence. so the mis understanders of islam propberly blew up the girl's school because these girls were really old men in disguise using the school to attack innocent muslims.

Maybe the girls were watching FITNA the movie, or reading the latest Mo' comic books.

Women are only allowed women doctors. Women aren't allowed an education, even basic education. How will they become doctors?

And they think they are better than us.

Indonesia's parliament last week passed a new information bill that criminalises the transmission of pornographic material on the web.

The ministry said the law was a response to concerns in society about the negative impact of pornographic and violent sites as more Indonesians gain access to the Internet.

Under the law, anyone found guilty of transmitting pornographic material, false news or racial and religious hate messages on the Internet could face up to six years in prison or a fine of 1 billion rupiah ($135,000).

Let me see, all the Muslims around the world are choking with rage over cartoons and a 15 minute home movie in Europe, meanwhile most of their people live in abject poverty and commit senseless acts of violence against schools. What a wild bunch of people! No wonder why they are at the bottom, their priorities are totally warped.

A good friend of mine has been saying all along that if you educate the muslim women, they would take care of the problem for us!

There was a time in the not too distant past when the Western media would have reported this story and condemned the action. I have not seen this story reported on any news outlet. The media in this country is not keeping the people informed, and openly discredit those who try to deliver the message, or should I say: WARNING. The truth is becoming illegal. Sad story.

The nabi remembers Mr. Sayed Rahmatullah Hashemi stating on his visit to the US, just before 9/11, that the Taliban wanted to educate women, but Afghanistan was a poor country (sniff) and couldn't afford it. So the priority was to "educate" boys only. If they had a few extra shekels to spare they would educate girls for sure.

Today such atrocities are happening in Afghanitan. However, I will not be surprised if they hapen when Muslims become the majority in currently non-Muslim nations. Such crimes against humanity should serve as awarning to the rest of the world of what awakes it i it does not wake to te danger that it is in.

True. Look at Lebanon. In 1960, it was 60% Christian, and Beirut was the Paris of the Middle East until the 1970s. When Muslims started their murderous war with the Christians in 1975, Lebanon was still 52% Christian. Today, Christians make up less than 25% of the Lebanese population. This was the folly of letting in Palestinians and other Jihadis out of compassion. Let this be a warning to the West as to what happens when the wrong people are allowed in and allowed to multiply.
