Whoops. Somebody didn't get the memo: tell the kuffar that we revere the People of the Book. Save that "infidels are dogs" stuff for later!
"Children Told they are Dogs during Mosque Visit," from NISNews (thanks to Sr. Soph):
THE HAGUE, 09/04/08 - A primary school in Amsterdam wished to provide its pupils with an understanding for other cultures. But during a visit to a mosque, the children were told they were dogs. With a view to developing understanding and respect for other cultures among children, primary school De Horizon regularly organises outings to various religious organisations. The chairman of the El Mouchidine mosque told the children from group 7 (aged 10) and their chaperones however that non-Muslims are dogs....
In the meantime, the school's management has addressed the mosque on the undesirable behaviour of the chairman. Both parties will say nothing further on the matter. "We will resolve the matter amongst ourselves and I have no inclination whatsoever to discuss the matter with the media", as newspaper De Telegraaf quoted the school's spokesperson Mariet ten Berge. "We have been to the mosque before and it always went well".
Angry parents had sent the letter on to De Telegraaf but were reportedly rapped on the knuckles by the school's management. "The school wishes to play this down. That is precisely the problem", as one mother commented.

What did the dog say when it sat on sand paper? Rough Rough!
Seriously, they should expose this far and wide, and keep talking it up over and over, in as many media outlets as possible.
That's what the Muslim Mafia does.

Sensitivity training, condemnation, violation of rights, discrimination against a race, compensation......
these are the things the kids, parents and attorneys should be calling for.
In the mean time the school, administrators and the workers at the mosque should be spade for religous indoctrination.

Damage control.

“The mosque chairman spoke poor Dutch but told the kids, while waving his finger: "Islam is good, other beliefs are also good. But if you don't believe, that is not good, then you only eat and sleep, then you're just like an animal, such as a dog."
The children and escorts did not react at first. Only when they were back in school, when asked what they had learned, the students answered: that we are dogs.

There goes the people of the book protection racket down the drain, bad luck for the small islamophobe atheists guess they can count them self as outlaws and fair game.

“According to a press release by Mohamed Guennoun, chairman of the El Mouhahidine mosque, the report above is based on erroneous information. He had never called unbelievers dogs and he rejects such statements.
…
When one 12 year old asked if Muslims are obligated to go to the mosque he had answered: No that is not obligatory. But there are those among us - those who think extremely - who think that if you as a Muslim don't go to the mosque five times a day to pray then you're really an unbeliever and not more than a dog.
Guennoun stresses that he was speaking of the extremists. He doesn't belong to that group and he rejects their way of thinking.
…”
That muslim could need some old cowboy philosophy.
If you find your self in a hole, the first thing to do is stop digging.

Alternatively, they could have simply showed the children videos of Ackmadinejads stirring speeches, or videos of Al-Qaeda origin depicting the beheading of innocent people, or photos of alleged gays hanging in Iran, or videos of the stoning of "immoral women" whose only crime was being caught in a car with a non family male, or videos of an airline passenger being arrested for importing drugs (he had a poppy seed as found on a bagel in the bottom of his shoe-no doubt picked up by walking where the seed fell), or they could have shown videos of the mass rioting in the streets because an "infidel" "inappropriately handled a certain book", or the videos of barbers assassinated because they cut hair in a non religious manner, or the videos of qassam rockets falling from the sky fired by peaceful religious people, or videos showing the destruction of vehicles passing over IEDs, or the destruction of ages old historic religious statutes, of videos of hundreds of bloated bodies of people gassed by their own government, or videos of embassies, barracks, ships, airplanes, buildings, churches, libraries, cars, icecream vendor carts, and other common items of society blown up by the peaceful followers of a certain religion...yes , they could have shown many things, but they elected to go visit a mosque...lucky for them, they returned home safely...

Islam is so misunderstood. This was simply a roll-playing exercise.
As in: "Roll over, boy. Paw, paw. Fetch the stick!"

Why the hell non Muslim children of impressionable age were taken to the Mosque ? Do they do this exercise for Churches,Synagogues and Temples also ? And why do these exercises ? Utilise the time and resources on better things. After 5 - 10 years at least half of these stupids (they are being trained like that) will convert willynilly to Islam. Muslims are very clever . They are making you do their jobs of Stealth Conversions to Islam. By this Interfaith thing only Islamization (stupidity)is being promoted. Islam does not budge even an iota of space in non Islamic direction.Or Who needs a war or enemies .

Does this school also take the children to visit a local Christian church? A Jewish synagogue? A Buddhist temple? A Hindu temple?
Or is it only the mosque that gets this special attention?

The chairman of the mosque gave the children and their parents a true picture of Islam.
Islam exposed - in other words.
I see a bright side to this,
The question is how well did all the kafurs hear and understand what they were told. Time will tell or being PC brainwashed they will not.
Hope that their eyes have been opened, and that they will pass on their understanding to more people

This trip to the mosque was a HUGE SUCCESS.
In fact, every non-muslim child should be taken on such trips, and should be exposed to muslims being honestly who and what they are.
Call the kids "dogs." Or monkeys and pigs. All that good stuff. Then have an imam go on some rant about subjugating the West, killing Jews, and cutting off heads.
What a great educational experience for non-muslim children to have. A glance at the islamic reality that adults so often hide, even from themselves.
at April 9, 2008 1:02 AM
Wow. I'd rather be called a dog, than a muslim. Am I an islamaphobe? Or do I just like dogs better than muslims?

That is precisely the problem", as one mother commented.I agree with the jj1980 & Tapper that the mosque visits were successful. If these parents had been aware of what these mosques, then instead of being angry, they could have steeled their kids for the humiliating experience, assuming that it was mandatory for them to allow such a visit in the first place. But other than that, they are right - if people are going to have to engage in these dog & pony shows (due apologies to dogs & ponies - neither of which deserves to be equated to Mohammedans), they might as well get the real deal, instead of a spoonful of taquiyya for the course.
Incidentally, don't parents get a say as to whether their kids have to visit religious places in the first place? If it were kids of Atheist parents being forced to visit churches, wouldn't activists in Europe cry foul? Or am I just being a moron, and overlooking the obvious fact that only for mosques are such outreach visits mandatory?

"The chairman of the El Mouchidine mosque told the children from group 7 (aged 10) and their chaperones however that non-Muslims are dogs...." --from the article.
The chairman's statement, of course, is based on the Qur'an:
7:176. (Yusuf Ali): "If it had been Our will, We should have elevated him with Our signs; but he inclined to the earth, and followed his own vain desires. His similitude is that of a dog: if you attack him, he lolls out his tongue, or if you leave him alone, he (still) lolls out his tongue. That is the similitude of those who reject Our signs; So relate the story; perchance they may reflect."
From the tafsir of Ibn Kathir:
“[...]So his parable is the parable of a dog: if you drive him away, he pants, or if you leave him alone, he (still) pants.) Scholars of Tafsir have conflicting opinions regarding the meaning of this Ayah. Some scholars said that it refers to the end of Bal`am's tongue which flickered out of his mouth, as in the story narrated from Ibn Ishaq, from Salim, from Abu An-Nadr. Therefore, his example is the example of the dog, its tongue pants regardless of whether it is driven away or not. It was also said that the meaning here is a parable of this man -- and his like -- concerning their misguidance, persisting the wrong path and not being able to benefit from faith or comprehend what they are being called to. So his example is that of a dog which pants whether it was driven away or left alone. The person described here does not benefit from the advice or the call to faith, just as if the advice and call never occurred.[...]”

From the modern, "moderate" Iraqi Shia leader Sistani:
"Najis Things
84. * The following ten things are essentially najis:
Urine
Faeces
Semen
Dead body
Blood
Dog
Pig
Kafir
Alcoholic liquors
The sweat of an animal who persistently eats najasat."

Kinana of Khaybar makes a good point. It is not enough for the infidel to be told that he is considered a dog. It is important that the infidel understand that when the infidel is being compared to a dog what precisely does the muslim mean.
This is not like when Mae West said to an admiring man: "down boy, down!" When a Moslem says you are a dog he is also saying you are as: Urine; Feces; Semen; a dead body; blood, a pig, a non muslim; an alcoholic and the sweat of an unclean animal that eats slop. You the kufir are all these things, a dog. Take your pick of Sistani's list, you dog!

One never stops to be dumbfounded by those respected “knowledgeable” scholars of islam. How come there is so many intelligent otherwise rational people that play along the nonsense that these ignorant racketeers’ are to be respected.
In the case of Islamic scholars Bertrand Russell’s aphorism is for sure valid:
Men are born ignorant, not stupid; they are made stupid by education.
But one should never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.

A school class is taken to a mosque to learn about Islam, and the chairman makes a precise representation of what Islam is: Intolerance.
I really can't see what the problem is here. The children learned a very useful lesson. And not even the hard way - that fate will be reserved for their children...
I find it much more disconcerting that apparently the chairman has been lying to all the children that have visited his mosque until now.
But better late than never! Honesty should always be rewarded.

Perhaps he was just angry at the Fitna movie? And decided to take it out on these non-muslims?
Or perhaps Amsterdam is just considered a muslim city now and the non-muslims were traveling in a no-go area where minorities such as them are no longer allowed. So he can now finally talk to them however he pleases.

After sharing over 26 years of my life with two wonderful female dachshunds and volunteering in animal shelters, I choose to reply with the following quote when someone hurls an epithet such as "bitch" at me: (Would work in this case too)
"I have known very many dogs and can say with firm conviction that of all the creatures the one nearest to man, in the fineness of its perceptions and its capacity to render true friendship, is a bitch. Strange that in English her name has become a term of abuse." - Konrad Lorenz

I'm glad that the children, and their parents, have learned a most salutary lesson. But the parents need to take this further and have the teacher and principal dismissed for allowing their children to be abused during a school visit.

It seems to me that it's the Moslems who are the dogs: trained dogs who have learned a few tricks. Instead of "roll over" it's "kneel, bend over and knock head"; and when told to "speak" they say "allah akbar, allah akbar" instead of "arf, arf".

That went well. Let's hope that all Dutch schoolchildren are able to experience the love. This will breed a generation different from the spineless dhimmis now running the country and the schools.
/Dutch parents whose kids are involved should be issued torches and pitchforks and sent to visit the imam and the school administrator.

Infidel Pride already picked up on the 'money' quote:
"Angry parents had sent the letter on to De Telegraaf but were reportedly rapped on the knuckles by the school's management. "The school wishes to play this down. That is precisely the problem", as one mother commented."
Mom's got it down right. WTF is the school mgmt. doing telling parents where to get off? Who exactly do the "school's mgmt." think they work for?
(Off the top of my head I'd guess there's a history of Union meddling in there somewhere.
When parents lose the right to select their own schools' Principal, they lose ALL their influence.)
at April 9, 2008 4:11 PM
Who exactly do the "school's mgmt." think they work for?
The executive political leadership, of course.
This is after all Europe, where schools consider parents partly a nuisance, partly incompetent caretakers of the state's new generation (whose influence is to be diminished as much as possible).

Well you know we just like to visit the Mosques and Muslims countries after all the teacher from England who went to Somalia and told her class to name the teddy bear MoHAMtheMED it was riots and protests and death to the poor lady. So lets send our kids to visit a Mosques and learn about the religion of Peace. Its okay that our kids are called dogs, I am sure there will not be any riots or death threats. Yes the other religious establishments are not really that important you know like the Hindu Temples, Buddhist Temples or Synagogues.
