This was all from Harry's Place (web site). The pool time are found on here.

Up until the article in the Daily Mail, you could find Muslim Men Swimming only times all over London, but someone rapidly updated the website to remove this choice. Actually, I wouldn't mind it, if only a a warning to others.

Another ridiculous question.....are these muslims using the pool for swimming or bathing?

A public health issue may be overlooked if these guys are not bathing regularly, will not shower before entering the pool and then consider this bathing.

And what about pool staff....are there women employees around? are they restricted from fulfilling their job because they can't access the pool area? what about the lifeguard? is the lifeguard male? is the lifeguard muslim?

And most importantly.....if they run along the edge of the pool and the lifeguard warns them not to run, do the muslim swimmers declare jihad on the lifeguard?

US offers Pakistan government $7bn in non-military aid to fight terrorism

The US has promised to curb air strikes by drones against suspected militants in Pakistan, as part of a joint counter-terrorism strategy agreed with the new civilian government in Islamabad, the Guardian has learned. I believe I read the Muslim men themselves have rules about how long their bathing trunks should be even with each other. IF dad and son got in the pool in anything shorter they risked being ravished by lust-crazed Muslim men. So, it was for their own good to be turned away.

But some questions do arise:

What group requested a ‘men-only’ session, who approved it, at what point did this morph into a ‘Muslim-men’ only session, how long had the Muslim website been advertising this as such, why didn’t ‘moderate’ Muslims blow the whistle on this, and more importantly, why didn’t staff members voice opposition to it?

There can be no objection then to a non-Muslim only day at the park, at the cinema, at all restaurants (no need to include pubs, he he), at all university lectures, at Marks & Sparks, at all chemists, in fact in all public places and events, every facet of pre-Islamic British life and society. Their hygiene is questionable, I think this is their weekly(only) bath time. If you know what's good for you, stay away. I am staying in a largely muslim country and sampled their pool manners, not to mention their womenfolk sitting in the pool fully clad in burgas.

Over here, the muslims don't use soap because they believe that the wazu (wudu) that they do five times a day is the ultimate in hygiene. And that, along with the ritual with the stones (also purifying) is the reason why the majority, uh, um, let us say, emit odours that make this poster lose his appetite. I don't know about the man in the article above, but I am not going into any pool in which a "believer" has been, or is.

I am really concerned about the rising dhimmitude in Britain.

Why 2-3% muslims in a country like Britain is such a problem I can't understand. In India we have to put up with 18% muslims and no one would dare make a 'muslim only' swimming pool. That would create an outrage or at worst a riot.

I seriously can't figure out what is wrong with the British govt. but I know that the average Britons are seething with rage against islam and the attack on their way of life. Some of that rage also misdirects to 'asians' and 'multiculturalism' and racists get convenient reasons to peddle their ideologies.

Muslims are taking things too far and if this goes on year after year britons will ultimately elect a hitler-esque leader who will immediately have all muslims in concentration camps. And it may not be just the muslims.

Well, first and foremost, I believe that people who cannot adapt in at least a nominal manner to the countries in which they are living should return to their homelands. For the time being, if Muslims wish to have men or women-only swim sessions, or to require swimmers to wear suits that are not the standard worn in the countries where they are living, then they should build swimming pools in their mosques. As far as I'm concerned, any all-men or all-women swim sessions should be prohibited. (If someone does not wish to swim with members of the opposite sex, then they are free to join a gym that is for men or women only, or they can do another form of exercise.) It is not fair to expect the wider community to adapt. Suppose this gentleman had been with his wife, as well? Why should the demands of a small minority dictate the behaviour of everyone else?
