We have seen this in Europe before -- in fact, in Britain the National Health Service pays for it. Eurabia Alert: "Surgery Offers Muslim Women Illusion of Virginity," by Elaine Sciolino and Souad Mekhennet in the New York Times, June 11 (thanks to Al):
PARIS: The surgery in the private clinic off the Champs-Élysées involved one semicircular cut, 10 self-dissolving stitches and a discounted fee of $2,900.But for the patient, a 23-year-old French student of Moroccan descent from Montpellier, the 30-minute procedure represented the key to a new life: the illusion of virginity.
Like an increasing number of other Muslim women in Europe, she had a "hymenoplasty," a restoration of her hymen, the thin vaginal membrane that normally breaks during the first act of intercourse.
"In my culture, not to be a virgin is to be dirt," said the student, perched on a hospital bed as she awaited surgery Thursday. "Right now, virginity is more important to me than life."
As Europe's Muslim population grows, many young Muslim women find themselves caught between the freedoms that European society affords and the deep-rooted traditions of their parents' and grandparents' generations.
Gynecologists report that in the past few years, more Muslim women are asking for certificates of virginity before marriage.
That trend in turn has created a demand among cosmetic surgeons for hymen replacements, which, if done properly, they say, will not be detected and will produce tell-tale vaginal bleeding on the wedding night. The service is widely advertised on the Internet; there are medical tourism packages to countries like Tunisia where the procedure is less expensive.
"If you're a Muslim woman growing up in more open societies in Europe, you can easily end up having sex before marriage," said Hicham Mouallem, a doctor in London who performs the surgery. "So if you're looking to marry a Muslim and don't want to have problems, you'll try to recapture your virginity." [...]
One 32-year-old Macedonian-born Muslim said that she had chosen the surgery to avoid being punished by her father after her relationship with her boyfriend of eight years ended.
"I was afraid that my father would take me to a doctor and see whether I was still a virgin," said the woman, who owns a small business and lives on her own in Frankfurt. "He told me, 'I will forgive everything, but not if you have thrown dirt on my honor.' I wasn't afraid he would kill me, but I was sure he would have beaten me."...

Any father who expects his 32 year old daughter to still be virginal is seriously deluded. And anyway, she's an adult, isn't she? Isn't she? What business is it of her father's if she's a virgin or not?
Hymenoplasty. Only in islam.......the "culture" of lies and deception.

In the Bible, Jesus actually suggested that stoning wasn't that great an idea, and that we should "let he who is without sin cast the first stone."
The Old Testament is ancient history, and if you want to bring up the Bible, then do it properly.

One does wonder about the culture of paranoia about female virginity in Islam; it seems that the Muslim male has an impenetrable, as it were, terror of his own potential sexual inadequacy.
How far back does it go? A hadith reports that Mohammed used to "visit" all his many, many wives in one night. Unless the fabled Arabian nights are much longer than they are in the rest of the world, that doesn't seem to offer much time for a pleasant encounter for each woman. Perhaps his wives mocked Mohammed for having the "strength of thirty men," but not, sadly, the technique, the stamina, or the time.
All but one, that is: the six-year-old bride whom Mohammed began molesting when she was nine. Without a point of comparison (the other wives were supposedly older, or widows, or began as imprisoned sex slaves after Mohammed murdered their husbands), Aisha was doubtlessly submissive, docile, and utterly clueless. Mohammed's praise of young virgin girls as wives may be related to his molestation of Aisha. From there the Muslim cult of female virginity might well have sprung, or at least drawn tremendous strength.

Why would a Muslim woman living in the Europe marry a Muslim man? Oh, I forgot. There's that honor killing thing.
I still have no idea why Mohammed (BBOH) was so angry all the time. He set up his con (sorry) so that he could have sex with any Muslim woman, all this money from Muslim conquests and no one dared to question anything he did. He also ensured the continuance of the swindle by forbidding Muslim women from marrying kufars.
When do the Muslimas wake up and discover that their future husbands are limited to the Brutus's of the world and Olive Oyl can still get Popeye.

Honor based cultures are pathetic. How many of the men are virgins! Oh, but only the women must be virgins! I tend to be more thoughtful in my postings, but this is pure crap.
Hey Muslim women, why not leave your religion and marry some of us Chrisian and Jewish men. Our religions teach that women, while different, are equal to men in honor, right to dignity, and value in the eyes if God.
Muslims men must use death threats against their women to keep them from marrying Christians and Jews. Why? Because we make better husbands!
Muslims are about honour and outward piety. Christians are about sacrifice and service through which true piety is expressed.
Last, somewhere in Jewish thought it says that "God counts the tears of women." Muslims aren't the only ones but I suspect they have a lot to account for on Judgement Day when it comes to real respect for women.

Well, of course, this isn't true at all. It offers Muslim *men*--husbands, fathers, crazy male relatives of all stripes--the illusion of virginity.
The fee of $2,900 is already discounted--but what if a young Muslim woman cannot afford this, and comes in with the--most likely true--story that her life is in danger if she does not receive the surgery? Then, most probably, Infidels will pick up the entire tab for a useless proceedure, while other infidels spend more time on waiting lists for life-saving proceedures.
Who was it who said that the West has to do more show their appreciation of Muslim immigrants? Because their presence does so enrich the culture.

I should, of course, have described this proceedure as "medically useless", rather than just "useless". My heart does go out to these young women, put in this insane and terribly dangerous position.
My concern, though, is that by funding these surgeries, rather than cracking down on those threatening their relatives, that Westerners are unwittingly aiding and validating this insanity.

Her father has been a complete failure, so what else can he expect from his daughter? He's allowed her to reach the age of 32 unmarried. If he'd been a proper Moslem father, he would have married her off at the age of 14 to cousin Mahmoud from the Old Country, and by now he'd have 8 grandchildren, instead of a daughter just ending an 8-year "relationship."

Okay a few thoughts..
#1 - If you don't want to loose your virginity don't have pre-marital sex.
#2 - Isn't it rather self-evident that having these woman have to pay for an expensive stupid surgey to satisfy a Muslim's sense of honor is absurd?
#3 - Where are the Femanist groups? Really? Where are they?
#4 - Notice how even the doctor blames Western Society for her a muslim woman's own actions. (i.e. premarital sex)
