Pakistan: Christian girls kidnapped; captors file for custody, claiming girls converted to Islam

And the police weren't about to be of any help without outside pressure: The girls' father "was told to 'remain silent,' as the officers said the girls had embraced Islam in a written statement."

"Pakistan: Girls kidnapped, allegedly forced to convert," from Compass Direct News, July 11:

ISTANBUL, July 11 (Compass Direct News) – A Christian father in Pakistan is in a legal battle with kidnappers for the custody of his pre-teen daughters, who allegedly have been forced to convert to Islam.
Yesterday a judge in Pakistan’s Punjab province ordered further investigation into the kidnapping of Saba Younis, 12, and Aneela Younis, 10, who went missing on June 26 in the small town of Chowk Munda. The kidnappers filed for custody of the girls at the local police house on June 28, stating that the sisters had converted to Islam and their father no longer had jurisdiction over them.
When the father of the two girls, Younis Masih, was summoned to the police house to testify, police initially refused to file a case against the kidnappers – Muhammed Arif, Abjad Ali, taxi driver Muhammed Asraf and an unidentified fourth man – who are known to belong to a powerful human trafficking ring. Instead, human rights activists told Compass, Masih was told to “remain silent,” as the officers said the girls had embraced Islam in a written statement.
It was not until yesterday that, with the help of advocates and the Human Rights and Minorities Affairs Ministry, Masih filed an official complaint at the local police house. [...]
Ashfaq Fateh, a Christian advocate who established contact with Masih this week, said that the girls’ Catholic family had not received threats for their faith. He asserted, however, that the kidnapping was a religious matter.
“Being weaker and belonging to the Christian community, the girls were kidnapped,” he said.
Saba and Aneela Younis, the youngest of eight children, were kidnapped while on their way to see their uncle.
“The kidnapping of my daughters has made me feel insecure in the country,” Masih told Fateh in a telephone conversation. “My Muslim countrymen think we [Christians] are not human beings. They think we do not have dignity.”
“This happens every day,” Tahir said of the kidnappings of Pakistani children and unjust treatment toward Christians, “because we are marginalized and downtrodden people.”

Will someone, again, remind why islam is a "religion of peace"?

Sickening does not even begin to describe this absolute barbarism.

This is horrible.

Evil deeds just like this, or even worse, have happened over and over, hundreds of thousands of times, all through the past 1300 years. For 1300 years Muslim thugs - pitiless, conscienceless - have served their god of war by seizing, raping, 'converting', using and abusing, buying and selling, as if they were things, toys, animals, the little daughters of the kafir. Jewish girls, Christian girls like here, Hindu girls, Buddhist girls, Sikh girls, animist girls (and boys, too) have been snatched, and 'disappeared', century after century, leaving weeping and desolate families. Many, both girls and boys, have been mercilessly debauched in the harems of the corrupt and the cruel.

These girls were ten and twelve: nubile, by Muslim standards. It says in the article that the kidnappers " are known to belong to a powerful human trafficking ring." In other words: slave raiders. I'll bet my last cent those girls will end up in a brothel somewhere, or in some rich sheik's harem; maids, sex slaves, abused, beaten, maybe even tortured to death for fun by some psychopathic Arab Muslim in Saudi Arabia.

Islam: religion of slavery, religion of war, religion of rape, religion of cruelty, religion of lust and violence. Religion whose idea of 'evangelism' is the kidnapping and raping and sale of little girls.

By its deeds, it is made manifest.

Imagine if either, or both Presidential candidates, were to take note public note of this case, and by implication, of all the mistreatment endured by Christians, Hindus, Jews (well, there are almost no Jews left in the Muslim lands, and we all know why). What a salutary shock that would be, what a signal -- especially on the part of Obama -- that the miserable condition of the dhimmis is being vigilantly watched, note is being taken, decisions being made, on how the dhimmis -- so often, as in Pakistan, routinely oppressed and persecuted and humiliated and murdered -- are being treated.

If not the Presidential candidates, then a Congressman, or two, or ten, would be of great help.

Is there, in Congress, a Congressman willing to take on the matter of monitoring the condition of non-Muslims in Muslim lands -- not only Christians but also Hindus and Buddhists and Jews and any others? And will other Congressmen join such an effort? Why should they not?

It is vile and sick. What Islam has done through its followers to humanity is the worst crime ever imaginable. Imagine all those boys and young women kidnapped throughout its 14 centuries of existence. As dumbledoresarmy mentions in her comments, "Jewish girls, Christian girls like here, Hindu girls, Buddhist girls, Sikh girls, animist girls (and boys, too) have been snatched, and 'disappeared', century after century, leaving weeping and desolate families."

Our leaders have done a real injustice to the peoples of free societies by given a false perception that Islam is a religion of peace. They have also contributed to the on going atrocities committed by this political and ideological system called Islam. Because of our leaders refusal to confront this head on but taking a easier path of denial in the long run will continue to cause more and more damage to peace loving infidels. Our leaders are just as guilty of the heinous crimes committed by this screwed up and cowardly religion of Islam.

How soon before we this this in the United States? Somehow we have large numbers of people who feel if we are nice to the muslims they will be nice to us. Just does not work that way, does it? No Mr. President and our Diversity Dunces, we can NOT all get along.

Surely, if those kafir girls had been properly covered, they wouldn't have been kidnapped in the first place.

This should become an international issue!
Forced to sign a written statement that they have "embraced islam". Forced to do whatever their captors want. Poor babies, I hope they will be recovered and returned to their family. It's too much to hope that they will be in the same state of youth, health and innocence as when they were stolen.

(Unlikely) Scenario 1: Muslim kids get abducted, sexually abused and forced to convert to christianity, the abductors file for custody of their child abuse victims, while the christian police try to shove it all under the carpet until pushed to investigate.
Response: extensive media coverage and incandescent societal outrage.

Scenario 2: Christain kids get abducted, and forced to convert to Islam (and I fear other vile abuse).
Response: I hear about it first at jihadwatch sourced from Compass direct news. Sound of crickets chirping in the mainstream media.

Compare and contrast.

Oh, the perfect justice of Islam! This is the utopia that CAIR and Islamic apologists promise us.

@ MARISOL

I'm sure I'm not the only one here horrified by the kidnap and rape of these children.

Is there an organisation in Pakistan that monitors and provides legal advice to the families?

I would be happy to make a donation to help these people. I'm sure others on here would as well.

These are gradeschool aged girls...and the known white-slavers are allowed to speak on their behalf INSTEAD of their father? And the children are not immediately returned to their family?

Funny, muslim girls this age (any age, really) would have no standing to sign a paper renouncing their faith and claiming any other. But these pedophile-jihadists have been allowed to steal our little Christian sisters and do God only knows what to them. This is an International Outrage.

Dumbledoresarmy--you're onto something. The rich Muslim states thrive on oil; the poor ones run poppies and traffick in children.

Two Catholic Christian girls have been abducted by Muslim slavers in Pakistan, with the tacit or active connivance of Pakistani police, religious leaders and government authorities. Not so long ago, a gang of Muslim thugs gang-raped the 13 year old daughter of a Bangladeshi village Christian pastor. Copts could adduce many similar instances.

If the governments of non-Muslim countries had any courage at all, the moment that crimes like this were known to have been committed in Muslim lands, crimes winked at or even actively abetted by the Muslim police and governments and religious leaders, the Muslim land in which the crime was committed would be told that two mosques were being shut down.

Two Catholic girls kidnapped by Muslims, quite possibly raped and otherwise abused (Muslim abductors of girls, in Egypt, have been known to drug their victims and subject them to intensive aggressive brainwashing) and 'disappeared' in Pakistan?

Fine. Two Mosques get shut down, at once, in Italy; two in Poland; two in Ireland (and so on down the list of Catholic-majority countries). Mosques founded or run by Pakistani Muslims could be at the top of the list, but it doesn't have to be Pakistani mosques, since the Ummah is the Ummah. One could start with those mosques most suspect because of known association with jihadis and/or illegal immigration, fraud, etc.

Muslims are then put on notice that unless the girls are returned to their parents, safe and sound, within a week, and the human-trafficking operation completely dismantled, two *more* mosques will be permanently shut down. Further delay will result in more closures.

If they keep on attacking dhimmi communities, then each attack should bring down on their heads a visible reduction of the Ummah's presence in the lands of the Kafir. If they want to keep their mosques, then they will have to stop attacking Christians, Buddhists, Hindus, etc.

If some Muslim country starts deporting or mass killing non-Muslim minority groups, the result should be that twice that number of Muslims get sent out of the kafir lands, starting with the foreign-born imams, illegal immigrants, suspected jihadi plotters/ preachers/ enablers, and convicted criminals, and proceeding from there.

Another tack might be (after ceasing all military 'aid' forthwith), to put Muslim lands on notice that any non-military 'aid' is directly tied to the treatment of non-Muslims. If kafir girls and boys are kidnapped, or churches or temples destroyed, etc., economic aid will be reduced, bit by bit, and Muslim access to kafir lands will become more and more difficult. No more shopping sprees for the Muslim rich...

I am all for shutting down mosques and the prohibiting of building or establishing new ones.
'If you build it they will come', and come, and come.
Shut them down for any reason, or no reason. Retaliation (as suggested), and self protection are good enough reasons...

God bless you Dumbledoresarmy. YOU are right! Shut down the Mosques permanently. Don't reopen them. Our little sisters in the faith are suffering, and their families are powerless.
