More Christian girls being forced to convert to the religion of peace. As this report notes, the Muslim majority, including the police, are either actively or passively aiding the abductors, a common “phenomenon” in Muslim majority countries, such as Egypt, where Coptic girls are regularly abducted. “Punjab: underage Christian sisters kidnapped and forced to marry Muslims,” by Qaiser Felix for Asia News, July 14:
Islamabad (AsiaNews) - Kidnapped by three Muslims, and forced to convert to Islam: this is what happened to two underage sisters in the district of Muzaffargarh, in the province of Punjab, last June 26. The charge is made to AsiaNews by a relative of the victims, providing further details about the affair involving, against their will, 13-year-old Saba Younas and her 10-year-old sister Anila. After all, they just might be beaten, bruised, and in tears, and this just may be counter-productive for the Muslims.
According to their uncle, Khalid Raheel, the kidnappers presented a statement to the local district court affirming that "both girls converted to Islam following their marriage with two Muslims". For Islam, if a woman marries a Muslim, she embraces the religious faith of her husband as a direct consequence. The family's lawyer has rejected the demand of the three men, emphasising "the underage status of the sisters" and, in consequence, the impossibility for them to "change faith or proceed with regular marriages without the authorisation of a parent or guardian". In the course of the dispute, the judge asked to be able to see the two girls, but the Muslims flatly rejected the request.
"The local police and Ehsan-ul-Haq, a Muslim member of Punjab Assembly", accuses Khalid Raheel, "are completely in favour of the abductors. That is why we are not getting justice and are still struggling for the recovery of the girls". He emphasises his desire to "free the two sisters", and if the court does not "provide justice", he does not exclude the possibility of "appealing to the Supreme Court" of the country.Meanwhile, in the West, where Muslim families are just as outnumbered by Christian families, the former are placed on a pedestal, with the latter going out of their way to make them feel safe, secure, and equal—lest Muslim sensibilities be hurt.According to a statement released by the justice and peace commission of the Pakistani Church (NCJP), "the parents and Christian community of the place have been knocking on all the doors", but no one seems willing to help them. In particular, "the police, who have done nothing to restore them to their parents", are making themselves accomplices of the kidnappers. The commission also denounces the climate of intimidation that has been created around the family, which "has received serious threats from the kidnappers".
The NCJP and a Catholic women's movement have appealed to the governor of Punjab, that he personally act to "restore the sisters to their family", and punish "the guilty in an exemplary manner".
The village of Chak, where the kidnapping took place, is part of a majority Muslim area, where there are 158 Muslim families and only 14 Christian families; a climate of silence and fear dominates it, so much so that not even the structures created to uphold the law are taking "decisive measures to punish the criminals", out of fear of retaliation or episodes of interconfessional violence.

Glad to see AsiaNews picked it up and uncovered more details. As we've seen in Saudi cases, global outrage has a way of changing outcomes-- not out of the kindness of Sharia-addled hearts, but out of the ever-present imperative to keep up appearances.

Lovely. Kidnap and rape the girls before they are converted and then slap a burkha on them to protect their modesty afterwrads.

Excuse me? Hold them in contempt and throw their derrières in jail! The judge doesn't "ask" these things.

This is obviously a case of Muslim polygamist hogging the available women. So the Muslim men go out and get infidel woman to rape convert and marry by force
A truly disgusting religion fosters this activity
Muslim love to get infidel woman married and converted and turned into baby machines. While Islam prohibit a Muslim woman to marry a Christian because the offspring will be Christian

Something different for Special Forces to do...it appears that folks have a pretty good idea where these girls are being held captive.
Instead of playing the Osama bin Laden wild goose chase, how about sending in a SWAT team to annihilate these Muslim slavers (aka human-traffickers - bet they're pimps, too) and rescue the girls? Whisk them and their families out of Pakistan altogether, take them somewhere safe: then get them to tell their stories, say, to Congress. Or, better still, to 'Oprah' on primetime TV: every last horrible detail.
If our mainstream western media had any guts at all, heart-rending photos of these girls, and their ear-stained, desperate families, would be on the front pages of every tabloid, and all the horrid detail of the kidnappings, and the claims that they have been 'converted' to Islam, and the lurid stories of all those other non-Muslim girls who, down through the ages, have been seized and raped and stuffed into Muslim harems, and some of those nasty Qur'an quotes about 'those whom your right hand possesses'.
Every ambassador of every non-Muslim country, especially of those countries that have substantial Catholic populations, that has an embassy or a consulate in Pakistan, should be handing in protests.
Every Pakistani ambassador in every non-Muslim western country should be getting hauled onto the carpet, challenged with this story, and told that if these girls aren't released pronto, they [the ambassador] will be set to packing their bags.
I hope Pope Benedict has written Musharraf a very, very stiff letter.
Maybe Berlusconi could see his way to shutting down that great big mosque in Rome, and bulldozing the whole thing all the way down to the ground, if these little Catholic girls are not released.
Muslims don't like shame. Well, they should be shamed by this. And the rest of the world should let them know good and hot, that things like this ARE EVIL. E. V. I. L, and that if things like this continue, there will be CONSEQUENCES.
Oh, and every clergyman, rabbi or other 'spiritual leader' that we happen to know, who is in the 'interfaith' 'dialogue with Muslims' business, the ones that obviously haven't a clue about Islam...this article, and the one that preceded it, can be shoved under their noses, with some historical background, and some of the contemporary stories out of Egypt that are exactly the same.

"The West"? The Western part of Pakistan has Christians outnumbering Muslims?
OOOOoooohhhhh I bet he meant "The West" as in places North and West of Turkey or across the Atlantic Puddle.
Your phrasing had me guessing for awhile there, Raymond.

And what will the west do - Nothing!!! We are about to elect "a muuslim in Christian garb" to be our next President. Sure its evil, yes they should be returned, but its not happening.
We here cann't even get the media to honestly broadly report the "honor killings" that occur in our country. We walk on tippy toes so as not to offen muslims in this country.
Were more concerned about the traffic light being too long the gas prices than the truth being reported.
Obama's anrgy over the cartoon of him and his wife - me thinks he needs to get out of the race now, but people will probably comply and say sorry.
We are not going to win this war if we donot start fighting and a good place to start would be for the truth to be heard.
And what we say here will only be used for our "doom" when the take over is complete. Personelly I'd like not only my life but my words to count for something more.
I want to see real change - we cann't help those in other countries if we refuse to help ourselves in this country - if we will not fight for what is right here in our own back yard our words or meaningless "smoke and mirrors". And by our silence we are condemed. We need to get up off our duffs and do something - In the words of a greater Founding Father " Get ourselves a new revolution and a better government"
Christians have a saying prayer changes things - but sometimes you have to get up off your knees and go change it, believing your all prayed up!
Lets do more than talk lets make our lives count!
The time for talk has past - Its time to do something people!!!!

I agree with the plan from dumbledoresarmy.
I am sick of Christian and Jewish blood being held so cheaply. Having Christian children kidnapped and raped by pedophiles is despicable. If we believe in equal rights for all when are we going to demand equal treatment from these scumbags who parade as "peaceful followers of Islam".
How about some rage!!!
Burn down a few embassies starting with the Paki embassy in Denmark.

And this is Why Copts Still Get Christian Tattoos On Their Children...
This is just too sad.
Pray for the people entrapped in such evil.
