Available now: the State Department's 2009 Churches of America Calendar!

mosquesofamerica02.jpg

Just kidding.

But you can get this one: "2009 Mosques of America Wall Calendar: Limited Edition for Ramadan." Available from the U. S. State Department's "Global Publishing Solutions" department.

(Thanks to Brian C. Ledbetter at Snapped Shot.)

UPDATE: Brian notes that the page has been pulled since he put his notice up at Snapped Shot yesterday. I still had it open and was able to capture the mosque image, but sure enough, it's gone now. As Brian remarks, it seems that the wise "public servants" at State "get all nervous when We, The People actually notice" what they're doing.

SECOND UPDATE: Here is the Google Cache page, and lest that disappear soon, here in two parts (top of the page and bottom of the page) is a screen capture of it.

Has anyone *else* done a 'Churches of America 2009' calendar? Surely it's been done, and more than once. I know that an organisation here in Australia, the 'Bush Church Aid' society, does a lovely calendar each year, with photographs of country and Outback churches, many of them historic or otherwise of interest, being examples of 'vernacular' bush architecture.

There must be some stunning church buildings across America, old and new, of all styles, from simple country meeting houses, through to cathedrals - I remember watching 'Sister Act' and Peter Weir's film 'Fearless' and both of those had some beautiful shots of historic churches in San Francisco.

A calendar showing synagogues in America would also be of historic and artistic/ architectural interest.

For example: here are the two oldest surviving synagogues in the United States -

the Touro Synagogue (built 1769-1763) in Newport, Rhode Island

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Touro_Synagogue

http://www.tourosynagogue.org/

and here is the USA's second oldest synagogue, the oldest in continuous use - Kahal Kadosh Beth Elohim, Charleston, SC (click on link, scroll down): current building dates from 1840.

http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/Judaism/synusa.html

http://www.nationalregister.sc.gov/charleston/S10817710102/index.htm

I wonder whether anyone has done a 'Synagogues of the Americas', or a 'Significant/ Historic Synagogues in the United States' calendar?

"The wall calendar features a vibrant photograph or photomontage for each month, displaying the beauty of mosques in America."

Now if that isn't enough to make you lose your breakfast, I don't know what is.
There is nothing beautiful about mosques in America - or anywhere else in the West, for that matter.

Our tax dollars at work.

Wow! Great spot by Brian Ledbetter. This could have gone unnoticed and further underlined islamic 'superiority' in their own minds by highlighting something that really shouldn't be publicly financed.

outreach. to a supremicist organization.

"The beautiful burning crosses of the Ku Klux Klan... "

the people who worked on this did not mean any harm. the point is that they are clueless.

WTF!! Just goes to show that the dhimi-crats in our state department are totally clueless and out of touch! When are these morons going to wake up?

Yea, WTF?

What dhimmmi dip-shit came up with this brilliant idea?

A nice caption under the picture would be "Buy one soon...or else".

"2009 Mosques of America wall calendar..."

Anyone thought to do a body-search of Miss May or Miss November? They may be hiding false papers, or explosives, or any number of things found in "The Mosques of Europe" by the security services of France, Italy, Great Britain, and a half-dozen other nations.

Interestingly I had to sign in on another computer. Typekey was experiencing difficulty in one room's computer but not this one. Hmmmmm.

The link viewed in the cached image brings you to the storefront. To view the catalog, one must be a registered member. To register, one has to be an employee (of the State Dept?).

Now the header for this website indicates:

GLOBAL PUBLISHING SOLUTIONS, YOUR WORLDWIDE COMMUNICATIONS PARTNER
sponsored by the U.S. Department of State - Bureau of Administration.

Communications on behalf of our nation with "whom" exactly? Since I am not/cannot registere(d) I certainly don't feel like they are communicating very well at all with me, a taxpaying citizen. I'd be interested in perusing this particular catalog as the website clearly indicates through a tab on that cached image "SHOP ONLINE".

Such a tease!

From the cached image:

This 12-month calendar is perfect for Muslim outreach efforts, as well as office and event giveaways.

The calendar could be a promotional item for this:

US plans to station diplomats in Iran for first time since 1979
The US plans to establish a diplomatic presence in Tehran for the first time in 30 years as part of a remarkable turnaround in policy by President George Bush.

The Guardian has learned that an announcement will be made in the next month to establish a US interests section - a halfway house to setting up a full embassy. The move will see US diplomats stationed in the country.

Remember Mosques are a political symbol of Islam. It represents superiority and conquest of the infidel lands and that Islam is the superior political system. The rest are kafirs paying jizya and are humiliated for being non Muslims. It is all about power and humiliation. Once a peoples are under Islamic and Sharia laws the infidels are humiliated by setting up Mosques on their destroyed temples or places of worship. The minaret has to be the highest point to signify the conquest and dominance of Islam over all other religions.

Battle of Tours . . .the second link you provided is telling . . .

written by: William Tracy, a lecturer on Islam and Middle Eastern affairs, is a former assistant editor of Aramco World and remains a frequent contributor.

That very same Aramco which Saudi Arabia

employed as its exclusive public relations agent, to present itself as a "staunch ally" of the Western world when it is in fact a permanent enemy -- with or without its completely corrupt ruling family -- not only of the West, but of the entire non-Muslim world.

Battle of Tours . . .the second link you provided is telling . . .
Posted by: heroyalwhyness

This too is telling:

” The mosque was built first, except for the still unfunded minaret. The largest part of the connecting school building was also completed; construction continues on a kitchen and cafeteria, arts and crafts rooms, and a language laboratory.
Studies indicate that as many as 80 percent of the children of Muslim families that immigrate into the American melting pot eventually leave Islam.”

They don’t have their symbols of power standing tall like missiles by the adobe brick mosque yet, and they’re worried because 80% of (assimilated) children will leave Islam. They better go back to their oil spickets and tap some more petro-dollars, or their 'power symbols' may be abolished before they're built, as 'apostate' Muslims blow the whistle on all that Saudi money pouring in to conquer with da'wa, soft and fast jihad, etc.

So, I guess that whole 'separation of Church and State' thing was only for Christians.

Would this change if Christians started calling their churches 'mosques'?

"Do do you have available a calendar of all the ancient destroyed Christian churches of Kosovo that our allies, the muslim albanians destroyed? I believe the total is over 100 now. Some dating back to the 1300's I understand. That would be a popular seller in both muslim and Christian circles.".

I am awaiting my response from customer service.

Could it be possible that there is someone in the State Department who is either an Islamist or an apologist who is behind all this? I cannot help but think of the guy several months back with the last name of Islam, who was making serious trouble for another government employee...sounds like something similar!!

If someone could obtain, by some roundabout means, a copy of this calendar, and find out *which* twelve mosques were shown, and whether there are names named of those involved with their construction or their administration, it might be interesting to try a leisurely google trawl through what Hugh calls the McGelligott's pool of the internet to see what turns up.

If one got anything ...interesting, any connections with terrorism and dirty dealing ...one could then photoshop the images in a suitable manner, to turn them into parodies of Wanted posters, and retitle the whole thing "the Rogues Gallery, or, Miching Mallecho".

Another suggestion: reword the title, "Twelve Muslim War Rooms in America, 2009'".

Go through Legacy of Jihad and The Dhimmi, and Fregosi's Jihad in the West, and the Religionofpeace website, the one that lists all the terror attacks: and mark on the calendar all the significant days - the known or guessed dates (and body counts) of the major jihadi terror attacks on the Lands of the Infidel, right from the start. E.g. 'such and such a date: beginning of jihad genocide of Armenians - 1 million dead'.

Then, too, for something entirely different, the artistically gifted could create the Calendar that the State Department, or Foreign Affairs in some other Infidel land, might have created, if it truly had both imagination and courage.

Titled - In Memoriam

Images: twelve of the major significant kafir sites or objects, secular or sacred, that has been attacked by Muslims and is now either destroyed or presently squatted on and desecrated by Muslims: e.g. The Temple Mount, Joseph's Tomb, the Tomb of the Patriarchs, the Twin Towers, a double image juxtaposing a Red London Double-Decker Bus with the London Underground), Hagia Sophia, the Bamiyan Buddhas, the Vale of Kashmir [one of the most beautiful places on the face of the earth, I understand...before Islam got to work on it]. We need four more to make twelve pages - conclude with the three most glorious Hindu sites Muslims have stolen and/or ruined, and a Sikh site.

One would find or create the most luminously beautiful image possible, of each place or thing as it is or was. There must be iconic, classic photographs or even paintings of the Twin Towers, and even of a London Bus (for the Underground, a painting representing its use as a refuge during the blitz in World War Two?). Lost Hindu temples could be re-visioned imaginatively by combining archaeological evidence and documentary descriptions.

Include an annotation under each image: for example, under the temples one could refer to Sita Ram Goel, and state that there were thousands and thousands of others that Muslims robbed and razed.

Under the Bus and Underground, one could note that there have been many other similar jihad terror attacks on iconic elements of kafir daily life - e.g. the Mumbai train bombing, the Madrid train bombings, the attack on the Beslan school.

It would haunt; it would infuriate; it would instruct. And it would not be propaganda. It would be, purely, true.
