The Mufti of Jerusalem and friend
I'd like to know who was responsible for this biography of al-Husseini that portrayed him as a "moderate supporter of non-violence." We have seen many times how jihadists and their allies whitewash history to obscure anything that might reflect negatively on Islam or the Islamic supremacist agenda today. This is just another example of it. Whoever abetted this, whether out of ignorance or complicity, should at very least be reprimanded.
"U.S. Holocaust Museum Removes Falsified Biography of Mufti of Jerusalem," from Holocaust Museum Watch, August 13 (thanks to Andrew Bostom):
The U.S. Holocaust Museum (USHMM) today removed from its website the falsified biography of the Holocaust era Mufti of Jerusalem. The Museum was criticized for blurring the line between facts and opinion, and in so doing, opening the door to Holocaust denial. The father of Palestinian nationalism, the Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin al-Hussayni, was a terrorist and a Nazi collaborator, indicted at the Eichmann Trial. The Museum wrote a web biography which presented al-Hussayni as a moderate supporter of non-violence. Falsifying and omitting key facts from the historical record, including photographs of Hussayni conferring with Hitler, the Holocaust Museum attempted to exonerate him from well documented charges of Nazi collaboration. The Museum’s website stated that his “controversial…relationship with Hitler’s government…has led some to label him a Nazi collaborator and war criminal….”
Within hours of the widespread dissemination to the press and public of HMWatch's press release describing the Museum's whitewash of the Mufti, the Museum removed the article.
The Museum still does NOT have in its archives the infamous November 28, 1941 photograph of the Mufti meeting with Hitler when he obtained Hitler's assurance to exterminate the Jews of the Middle East. Nor does the Museum have a factual biography of the Mufti and his role in creating the Nazi-Palestinian alliance.
There are direct historical links between the Nazis, the Final Solution, Husayni, the Muslim Brotherhood and Al Qaeda. The Museum chose to falsify these historical roots in the Mufti’s biography because the Museum is determined to be silent about current Muslim anti-Semitism and its connection to Nazism....

I'm glad this was posted as I'm reading a book right now called "Icon of Evil: Hitler's Mufti and the Rise of Radical Islam," by David G Dalin and John F Rothman (2008), and the photo posted above is on the cover.
For those interested in this subject, I got the book recently at Barnes & Noble, but of course you could order it online.
Note: As the Mufti is referred to as "Icon of Evil," don't worry about there being any "whitewashing," lol

Iran and the palestinians seem bent on finishing off the noble work of their Uncle Adolf. They needn't exert themselves too much-as whoever wrote that autobiography shows, it'll probably be the leftist, self loathing Jews who will get the job done for them. They already call Israel a Nazi state so why not doctor the history of the Holocaust as well? Once it's relegated from fact to fiction the final Final Solution can be more easily implemented.

I don't think this was out of ignorance or complicity and I do not believe the person will be reprimanded.
This was done I believe in the full knowledge of historical facts and with the sober intent by the U.S. Holocaust Museum to misrepresnet the truth with intellectual fraud in deference to islam.

Great! Glad I posted about it.
Mr. Mufti also had his photo taken with Eichmann, Himmler, and Muslim troops sent to fight for Hitler. Hey, thanks for the photographic evidence of your unholy alliance!

So, the US Holocaust Museum is, as 'witness' says, being purely mendacious, nothing innocent about it.
Pressure from Rice's minions? Cozying up to the Pals, at any cost?

That there is an organization called the 'Holocaust Museum Watch' leads me to believe that the Holocaust Museum has some serious, ongoing administrative issues.
As this museum relies (I suspect), at least in part, on taxpayer monies to operate, why is up to a Holocaust Museum Watch organization to monitor its operations.
Shouldn't that be a Congressional oversight function?

Errata Sheet:
For "The father of Palestinian nationalism, the Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin al-Hussayni...
Read "The self-appointed head of the Arabs of Mandatory Palestine, who like them and like other Arab Muslims could not possibly tolerate the building of a Jewish nation-state, and who was for a time supported by Muslims as far away as India for his efforts on behalf of what they regarded as the re-establishment of the Caliphate, the Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin al-Hussayni, was an enthusiastic supporter of Hitler and of the "Endlosung" to which he, Amin al-Hussayni, did his best to encourage and to further."
There.
That's better.

Lets not have a repeat from last months squabble and stop with the friendly fire, and please stick to what's important. Darcy is an ally, and an important one at that, so try targetting the Mohammadean force, as picking on JW friends is very underminding and sends the wrong message to the real enemy.

The role of the Grand Mufti was even worse than stated here. He was an SS conspirator as he personally recruited Muslim Waffen SS deadheads for Hitler. See, picture taken in 1943 of the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem Haj Amin el-Husseini reviewing Bosnian-Muslim troops - a unit of the "Hanjar (Saber) Division" of the Waffen SS which he personally recruited for Hitler.
http://christianactionforisrael.org/antiholo/arabnazi.html
Moreover, The Mufti received special dispensation from Hitler to organize a Muslim SS. He also was promised supervision of the final solution to the Jewish question in the Middle East if Germany won the war. He survived the war intact in Egypt and had been instrumental as a religious teacher to many of the post war Muslim leaders and their predessors including Arafat, S. Hussein and the Assads in Syria. It is sometimes said that the radical islam of today is fascistic. What is not talked about is how it may have grown out of Nazi fascism directly.

Vampires cast no shadows...That's a very strange photo. Bright light black background. Few shadows.
The Mufti is sitting on the edge of his chair in a stiff formal manner, while Hitler is on the edge of his squishing the fabric. He is obviously animated, leaning forward, raising his hand in what could have been a slap, or an enthusiastic gesture.
I prefer the slap.
I doubt Hitler had any problems expressing to the Mufti, and many others, about just exactly who is in charge here.
The Mufti made one big mistake. He thought he was teaming up with a winner...Allah forgot to tell him that it was predestined for America and allies to win. He put Islam in the position of backing the loser...He should have realized that when Hitler tried to slap him...

I bet if you dig into the backgrounds of the people who run the museum you'd find some are hard core liberals or Palestinian sympathizers.
People who have a vested interest in whitewashing Muslim anti-semitism.

And while the Mufti did his part he was assisted by Francois Genoud. Do some reading on this name and person.
Francois Genoud may be one of the most dangerous middle men between the Mufti and the SS party. And Genoud, although now dead of a suicide on May 30, 1996, continues to fly under the radar.
He had opened the Arab Commerical Bank and opened the Al Taqwa Bank, can we say 'track the terror funds?'.
Genoud used bank money to defend the famous muslim assassin the 'Jackel'. Genoud admitted that he was the person the thought of muslims hi-jacking commerical airliners. Genoud became the President of the Swiss Red Cross at the end of the war and helped the muslims and nazi's, and SS members escape by creating new identifications and certifying them in the Red Cross office.
American secret file and CIA files are still sealed on this person.
Someone should open up an investigation on this person and do a book.

I personally believe there are toooo many people protecting the information and possible ties that Genoud and the Mufti represent.
And then a big question comes into play...did in fact the Belgian Jew, Gyorgy Schwartz (born August 12, 1930), that in fact helped (self admitted) the Nazi's identify Jews trying to escape and identify the Jews wealth, did this Schwartz have ties to Francois Genoud? There are appears a interesting path, it would be interesting to have files opened by the National Archives that are sealed on Genoud and on Schwartz. Oh, by the way if you are wondering who Gyorgy Schwartz is....we know him George Soros.

Alaskan
is there a link between Soros and Genoud? hard to believes since they are on totally opposite sides of the politicla spectrum. The Altaqwa bank in Lugano was if i remember closed down by the americans after 911 and was undoubtedly a financer of terrorism.
As for Verges- his defence of Klaus Barbie was financed by Genoud in Lausanne.
there remains the appointment of Husseini by the British as grand mufti of Jerusalem, a title actually invented by the British. Nad to boot he was appointed by lord Samuels, who was of course Jewish.
Husseini was of course an expert in the formentation of hatred against the Jewish settlers and had been expelled from turkey at the time of the armenian genocides.
Many other Muslims were far more qualified to take this post but were bypassed by the British in their selection. Perhaps because they were not sufficiently filled with hatred against the Jews.
Because what was needed was an agent provocateur who would forment dissent between the arabs and Jews, so that the perfidious British could point out that the experiment of Israel was a total failure and should be shelved or cancelled. This in line with their new discoveries of vast amounts of oil in the arabian peninsula and econmic aspirations.
But Husseini was jailed and sentenced for his terrorism and yet the British released him and although later wanted as a war criminal for his activities in Serbia also "escaped" from french custody.
All truly shameful indeed.

davidka....
I have only been able to find 'hints' and no hard evidence. The paths and places were very paralleled during and shortly after the war. As to Genoud and Soros being on 'opposite sides of the political spectrum' what I am finding is the vast amount of simularities, associates, and people. Please share your 'opposites observation'.
If we look at the front groups Soros has created as propaganda machines we see a very similiar 'machine' the Nazi's used.
To answer your question...no, but unless the files in Washington D.C. are opened, or with the recent opening of the Nazi archives being opened or unless someone comes forward we may never know. It may not exist, but it is worth looking into. I am willing to spend more time on it....at this time I believe we need to have the 'admitted sealed' files in Washington D.C. opened. That would be my next step.
As for the British appointing the Mufti, the British opening recognized what Al-Huyssani represented to them, and that was that he 'was the leader' and he controlled the people. No one else had the power that Al-Huyssani had. So, they gave him a recognized title and went along with the act.
P.S. Al-Huyssani's nephew was the financed (by Genoud) and trained PLO leader Yasser Arafat.

I just can't understand why so many Jews persist in this delusion that Muslims are our pals?
Posted by: Dumbo

Yes, Dumbo.
I have just got my copy of Andrew Bostom's "The Legacy of Islamic Antisemitism".
Part One, entitled 'Islamic Antisemitism: Jew-Hatred in Islam', which is the overview and distillation of all his research, makes for riveting - and terrifying - reading.
If every Christian priest or pastor, and every Jewish rabbi, had to read just that portion of Bostom's book, during their training, and show evidence of having understood it, before their ordination, we would be spared many of the more embarrassing displays of Useful Idiocy that we are forced to witness today from our spiritual leaders. The nonsense about 'three Abrahamic religions' that we hear so much about, would cease.
If our journalists and political leaders also read Bostom's damning report, and truly understood and believed it, much Western reporting and diplomacy vis a vis 'the Middle East situation' would be radically different.
If every Jewish member of the Knesset read, learned, marked and inwardly digested what Bostom has discovered, they would *know* the mind of the enemy that they face every day. They would *know* exactly where the hate is coming from. They would know that no concession, no negotiation, no bribe, no talks, no nothing, is going to achieve 'peace' with the Arab Muslims, or indeed, the entire Muslim world: only Jews all dead, or Jews reduced to a terrified, powerless, tormented and despised remnant of dhimmi near-slaves, will ever be enough for the Muslims.
Read part one of Bostom's latest book, David England. You wrote: " It is sometimes said that the radical islam of today is fascistic. What is not talked about is how it may have grown out of Nazi fascism directly".
No it didn't. I see Nazism and Islam more as cases of 'convergent evolution'. And they hopped into bed with each other so quickly, and borrowed ideas and strategies so eagerly, because they were kindred spirits before they ever met.
Muslim jihadist hatred of Jews is a good example. Bostom's book shows that Muslims did NOT need Nazis to teach them to hate Jews, they already did that quite thoroughly and comprehensively, all by their little selves.
Furthermore Ibn Warraq, when he identified a whole string of congruences between Islam and fascism was not talking about anything that modern Islam has *learned* or *copied* from European fascism: the Islam he had in mind was classical mainstream Islam, what Hugh calls "'Islam, Islam, Islam", Islam of Qur'an-Sira-Hadith, Islam as it was expounded by Muslim jurists and theologians, and practised by Muslim despots and Muslim mobs, for over a millennium before European Fascism was ever a gleam in a philosopher's eye.

There is also an interesting link from the Mufti's link to Nazi ideals and the formation of the Baath Party which was found in Iraq and also in parts of the neighboring countries. Thus, there is a direct cultural lineage from Hitler to Saddam Hussein.
