(Coral Springs, FL) This Saturday’s (April 3rd) rally against the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and the Palestinian terror group HAMAS will feature Captain Edwina McCall. McCall is a decorated officer and combat-qualified nurse in the U.S. Army, who has determined medical treatment plans for thousands of military servicemen.
Captain McCall’s position in the Army was threatened, when, in December of 2003, CAIR contacted the office of Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld and claimed McCall was an “Islamophobe” for her outspoken views on radical Muslims.
Also speaking at the rally will be the Palm Beach County District Chairman for the Zionist Organization of America (ZOA), David Solomon.
Solomon, who has been featured on the radio and in newspaper reports, will be speaking about the past and present day threat of HAMAS.
At the protest, rally organizer Joe Kaufman, will be issuing a statement to the public alleging possible material support from CAIR for terrorist organizations following the September 11th attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon.
Kaufman stated, “Given CAIR’s connection to terrorist front groups, and given CAIR’s imprisoned leaders in the United States, there is good reason to believe that CAIR knew that the donations they were asking people to make, in the name of charities based in Illinois and Texas, were going towards the funding of overseas terrorist organizations.”
According to the Justice Department (Title 18, Part 1, Chapter 113B, Section 2339A, ‘Providing material support to terrorists’), such support can result in life imprisonment.
