I have said it over and over again: the massive Muslim immigration into Europe is not a racial issue. It is a question of whether people who have been raised to have contempt and hatred for unbelievers and their laws will accept the legal and societal structures of European secularism. There are disquieting indications that in Denmark many are not doing so:
Yesterday a taxi firm in Odense announced they had taken the decision not to carry Somalian passengers due to a number of attacks by young Somalians on taxi drivers.
Again last night a taxi driver was attacked in the notorious Vollsmose area of Odense.
Last night in North West Copenhagen, too, two young men, reportedly of Somalian appearance, sprayed gas in a taxi driver’s eyes, hit him on the head and tried, but failed, to steal his money.
That’s from DR Nyheder, with thanks to Ali Dashti, who also sends along these related background pieces:
From a 2002 piece by Daniel Pipes and Lars Hedegaard which will be included in my forthcoming essay collection, The Myth of Islamic Tolerance:
Muslims are only 4 percent of Denmark’s 5.4 million people but make up a majority of the country’s convicted rapists, an especially combustible issue given that practically all the female victims are non-Muslim. Similar, if lesser, disproportions are found in other crimes.
And this piece from DR Nyheder last week: Young immigrants commit more crime.
