Even as Pakistan gets pat on the back from the Bush administration for capturing Abu Farraj Al Libbi, clerics in Pakistan’s NWFP are praying for the well being of terror mastermind Osama bin Laden.
An Afghan cleric who has been living as a refugee in the provincial capital at Peshwar and delivering sermons at mosques led a prayer meeting for the success of bin Laden and the Taliban against the US led coalition forces in Afghanistan.
He asked worshippers to ‘pray for the success of Osama and the Taliban’, and wished for bin Laden’s sons to complete their father’s mission, reports the Daily Times. He also criticised Pakistan President General Pervez Musharraf for helping the US topple the Taliban government in Afghanistan in late 2001.
