DC Watson sends one last valentine to the outgoing Board Chairman of the Council on American Islamic Relations, Omar Ahmad:
The Council on American Islamic Relations has announced the retirement of its Chairman, Omar Ahmad. Parvez Ahmed, who will be assisted by Vice-Chairman Ahmad Al-Akhras, will replace him.

The announcement describes Ahmad’s eleven years of service at CAIR as “exemplary.”
Exemplary?
Exemplary in chairing an organization that attacks Americans for exercising their right to free speech whenever they are critical of them, or of Islam?
Exemplary in attacking any establishment who challenges their organization or exposes militant Islam, including contacting the sponsors of these establishments in an effort to silence them?
Exemplary in criticizing our government’s counter terrorism policies, while at the same time whining to the very same government with questionable claims of “anti-Muslim hate crimes”?
Example: CAIR has produced a report titled “Unequal protection: The status of Muslim civil rights in the United States 2005”.
In this report, CAIR cites a July 9, 2004 arson at a Muslim-owned grocery store in Everett, Washington. Dr. Daniel Pipes, who researched CAIR’s report, has identified inconsistencies within its content, and clarifies this alleged arson “hate crime”: “investigators quickly determined that Mirza Akram, the store’s operator, staged the arson to avoid meeting his scheduled payments and to collect on an insurance policy. Although Akram’s antics were long ago exposed as a fraud, CAIR continues to list this case as an anti-Muslim hate crime”.

Said Omar Ahmad: “It is my belief that this change in leadership will benefit the organization and the cause of American Muslims.” Let’s revisit public statements that this interesting individual has made in regard to his apparent view of the “cause of American Muslims.”
1998: At an Islamic conference held at the Flamingo Palace in Fremont, CA, Ahmad urged Muslims not to shirk their duty of sharing the Islamic faith with those who are “on the wrong side.”
So are we to understand that Mr. Ahmad and his organization, which screams for plurality and tolerance in America, consider non-Muslims “on the wrong side”?
“Muslim institutions, schools and economic power should be strengthened in America. Those who stay in America should be “open to society without melting (into it)”.
“Islam isn’t in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant. The Koran…should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth”.

Are we to understand that Ahmad’s statements represent the “cause of American Muslims”?
If so, then why does this organization continue to pelt our government with claims of “anti-Muslim bias”? Not all Muslims buy into this strategy, but their number remains unknown because they fail to speak out against groups like this.
Perhaps Mr. Ahmad and his staff can take a good look around them before he makes his exit. Aside from their constant noisemaking, America is no more Islamic now than it was when CAIR first opened its doors. There may be a slight increase in the number of Muslims in America, and although Islamic organizations inflate these numbers, the more accurate figure is at one and two percent of America’s population.

There’s no Shari’ah law to be found anywhere, nor will there be. We all still speak and live freely, and will continue to. For them to expect Americans to completely trust Muslims is nothing short of oafish. You see there’s this certain event that happened on a bright, sunny Tuesday morning that we just can’t seem to put out of our minds.

Here’s another example of the Islamic mindset: Last year around the third week in March, Ahmad’s organization publicly condemned Israel’s assassination of Palestinian Sheikh Ahmed Yassin.

“¢ http://www.jihadwatch.org/dhimmiwatch/archives/001256.php * includes a chronology of Hamas terrorist acts.
This might not have been so outlandish if it weren’t for the fact that they referred to Yassin a “religious leader,” when in fact, Ahmed Yassin was the co-founder of the Hamas terrorist network.

As always, Muslims offer justification for their fellow Muslims who murder innocent, unsuspecting men, women and children. After all, it’s all about Islam, right?
In November 1999, Ahmad, while speaking at the Islamic Association of Palestine’s convention in Chicago, praised suicide bombers who “kill themselves for Islam.” “Fighting for freedom, fighting for Islam — that is not suicide”. “They kill themselves for Islam.”

Yes, simpleton, but they also kill innocent people as they blast their own entrails all over the bus. If we look at the current conflicts underway in the world today, there are very few of them that don’t involve Muslims. This, however, is nothing new for them. For Islam, the “religion of peace”, war has never seemed to be too far away.

Then there are the CAIR employees who are behind bars for terrorist activity:

Note: According to the Federal indictment, Ghassan Elashi is the cousin of Nadia Elashi/ Marzook, the wife of Mousa Abu Marzook, Deputy Chief of the Hamas terrorist organization’s Political Bureau.
Three lost sheep? Sheep yes, lost no. These three are former CAIR officers who have been convicted of terror and fraud crimes and are in prison, on their way to prison, or have been booted out of the country. The changing of the guard at CAIR could be a perfect opportunity for this organization to change its approach. But will they? For now, it appears to be business as usual as they’re asking “people of conscience” to support a resolution being introduced by
Representative John Conyers (D-MI), which would “condemn bigotry and intolerance against any religion”. Michigan has a rather large Muslim community, doesn’t it, Mr. Conyers?Apparently, the basis of this resolution is to “recognize that the Qur’an as any other holy book of any religion, should be treated with dignity and respect.”
Condemning religious bigotry? Non-Muslims deserve to see how Muslims are practicing their idea of tolerance. The “religion of peace” is at its finest here. Warning, profanity and threats of violence run rampant:

Respect for the Qur’an? Do they mean Qur’an verses such as these?
Wife beating: Qur’an 4:34
Bigotry: Qur’an 5:51
Slaying non-Muslims: Qur’an 9:5
Ambushing non-Muslims: Qur’an 9:29
Beheadings: Qur’an 8:12
Death for leaving Islam: Qur’an 9.57Muslims have been disrespecting other religions for centuries, even their own. Their actions include desecrating the Holy Bible, destroying religious artifacts, and ransacking various religious sites:

“¢ http://www.jihadwatch.org/dhimmiwatch/archives/006144.phpSuggestions for the new leadership at CAIR:
1. Stay out of our public schools.
2. Remove all anti-American literature from American mosques.
3. Stop Islamic schools from teaching religious bigotry.
4. Work on integrating Muslims into American culture, not Americans into Islamic culture.
5. Stop complaining to the government and accusing Americans of committing “hate crimes” that they haven’t committed.
6. Understand that this country owes Islam nothing, and that Muslims are not entitled to preferential treatment simply because they’re Muslims.
7. Educate your fellow Muslims, in particular the sizable criminal element within the Muslim community that the Qur’an does not, and will not ever, override the Constitution of the United States.
8. Stop trying to force your ideology on our society. Like it or not, Americans, and only Americans will dictate their own opinion of Islam and the Qur’an, not you.
