Former New York State security czar James Kallstrom is urging U.S. officials to tighten up the borders and strengthen identification procedures in the wake of today’s al-Qaida bombings in London.
“We need more support on a host of issues like border control and false IDs,” Kallstrom told WABC Radio in New York.
The former head of the FBI’s New York office urged that “we get serious in really cracking down” by “stopping all the unnecessary political correctness.”
“It puts law enforcement in a straitjacket, “Kallstrom complained.
