I think it is likely that Mirsad Mulahalilovic is not an Arab. In this he is not at all alone among jihadists — witness Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and large numbers of people in Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and elsewhere. Mirsad Mulahalilovic is just another small bit of evidence that the anti-jihad struggle is not a “racist” one, but an ideological one: the enemy is not any particular race, but the adherents of an ideology that would extinguish freedom of conscience and deny equality of rights to women and religious minorities. The persistent unwillingness to acknowledge this reality among the mainstream media and the Left, as well as large segments of the Right, is outstandingly craven.
“Terror accused had PC jihad ‘library,'” from The Australian, with thanks to the Constantinopolitan Irredentist:
A MAN accused of being part of a Sydney terror cell kept a library of extremist material on his computer that included videos of beheadings and footage of the bombing of the Australian embassy in Jakarta.
Mirsad Mulahalilovic, 29, allegedly kept on his computer “hundreds” of images and documents justifying violent jihad and detailing acts of violence against Western interests in Iraq, Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia.
The extremist Islamic literature included material praising al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden and speeches by Iraqi terrorist leader Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi.
