“People see that the bullies of the world get angry because of the technical and scientific advancement of other countries…” — from Ahmadinejad’s speech
This is the view repeatedly expressed by Muslim leaders: the idea that “science” consists mainly of weaponry. When Ahmadinejad talks about “technical and scientific advancement,” he is speaking only about weaponry, or more specifically, about Iran’s nuclear project. In exactly the same way, when Mahathir Mohamed, who ran Malaysia, addressed the Organization of Islamic Countries, he spoke of the need for the Muslim countries to advance in science. But it was clear that the structure of DNA, the workings of the brain, the immune system, or any of the discoveries in theoretical physics, meant nothing to him or to his audience. He was interested in weaponry. Weaponry, which would allow the Muslims to achieve their proper role in the universe: for Islam is to dominate, and is not to be dominated.
Bombs are Ahmadinejad’s idea of science.
Of course the Western world has been utterly and completely and foolishly generous in opening up its universities and technical institutes to Muslim students — a policy that must stop completely. It was in a Dutch institute that “Doctor” A. Q. Khan discovered the nuclear secrets which he simply stole — and those thefts explain the Pakistani bombs. It was in England that those two female Iraqis, known now as Dr. Germ and Dr. Anthrax, obtained their training in biology — for them, biology meant biological warfare. How many of those Muslim “scientists” (that is, would-be weapons makers) obtained their training in the West, or were taught by those who had done so? All of them, or merely almost all of them?
Meanwhile, Ahmadinejad echoes the constant theme of Muslim rulers today — the declaration that we simply must stop the non-existent “bullying.” Is the “bullying’ also in the hundreds of billions spent on Iraq and Afghanistan? Is the ten trillion transferred to the Muslim oil states bullying? And what about the tens or perhaps hundreds of billions being spent on the Muslims who recently migrated to Europe and who are there provided with free education and free health care and free or subsidized housing by Infidel taxpayers? Is that bullying, despite the fact that what they get in Europe is far beyond anything they could conceivably get at home, and the fact that they respond to this by refusing to integrate, by treating with contempt and often with violence those who first welcomed them and now, with less enthusiasm, pay for what appears to be their permanent upkeep — even as they show no signs of dropping the hostility inculcated in them toward all non-Muslims by the tenets, attitudes, atmospherics of Islam (so that mosque attendance is hardly necessary to pick up such attitudes)?
Ahmadinejad does not know what “bullying” is. The Arabs and Muslims have been rescued again and again from their own outrageous behavior. Israel has never inflicted the kind of defeat on the Arabs that it could, for it has always been scrupulous and kid-glovish. On the one occasion when it was about to inflict a hard lesson, as might have been the case had the Egyptian Third Army been crushed in the 1973 war, Nixon and Kissinger, in their shallow realpolitik, prevented it.
Nor has the American army done anything like what it could do in Iraq — or for that matter, could do to pseudo-allies such as Pakistan or Saudi Arabia. How difficult would it be, after all, to seize the oilfields of Eastern Saudi Arabia, of Kuwait, the U.A.E., or the gas of Qatar? It would be far easier than was the invasion of Iraq. And now that there are all those expensive buildings in Saudi Arabia that have been put up over the past 30 years, and ditto with the oil sheiklets and Dubai, primitive Arabia has become “target-rich” in a way it was not before.
As for those Arab and Muslim funds in the Western world — do the Arabs not remember what happened to alien-owned assets during World War II?
One wonders what they think will happen if there are further attacks in the West of any kind. If those attacks are carried out by Muslims born and raised in, say, England, but whipped up into special fervor by those mosques, madrasas, propaganda, satellite television broadcasts, paid for by the Saudis and other rich Arabs, do they think they will remain permanently unscathed — or are they prepared for a scathing? Do they think the West could never ever seize that so-easily-seizable oil? For the “money weapon” needs to be taken away. Unless, of course, that “money” is no longer used as a “weapon” in Jihad.
Could the pleasure-loving Al-Saud, Al-Thani, Al-Sabah, begin to get the picture?
