Supporters of jihad terror marched in Dearborn, Michigan, and one expressed her desire for Islamic martyrdom in Lebanon as preferable to the horrors of living as a Muslim in the United States. From “Until cease-fire, marchers press on in Dearborn,” from the Detroit News:
Hayat Taleb has been to four rallies in Dearborn since the war in Lebanon began.
She had hopes for a cease-fire but by Tuesday, she had hardened her stance against the widening Israeli ground offensive and what she called the U.S.’s inaction.
“I’d rather die there than live here,” said Taleb, 24, a Dearborn mother of two….
Hayat, as far as I know, there is nothing preventing you from leaving the United States.
In West Bloomfield at the Jewish Community Center, more than 500 people turned out for a talk by Lt. Gen. Moshe Ya’alon, a former IDF chief of staff, on the challenges facing Israel.
Ya’alon underscored Israel’s right to defend itself. “The best defense is a good defense,” he said. “Today, Israel is on the frontlines. The war today is not about occupation. The war is about radical Islamists.”
Yes, it is one front of the defense against the global jihad.
