Not too many people seem to notice that there are actually several people posting here, not just one; I often see things attributed to me that other Jihad Watch staffers wrote. The people currently posting at Jihad Watch are, besides me, Board Vice President Hugh Fitzgerald, News Editor Marisol Seibold, and occasional News Editor Anne Crockett. And now there is a fifth, Greg Davis.
I am very pleased to announce that Gregory M. Davis has joined the Jihad Watch staff. Greg is the author of Religion of Peace? Islam’s War Against the World, which I described here as “a simple, direct, clear, and unflinchingly honest introductory text for those who will not believe, and cannot believe, that the Islamic jihad is either deeply rooted within Islam or poses any serious threat to non-Muslims.”
Greg is also the coproducer of the documentary Islam: What the West Needs to Know, which features Bat Ye’or, Serge Trifkovic…Abdullah Al-Araby and me discussing the aspects of Islam that have given rise to Islamic supremacist efforts, violent and peaceful, throughout history and today.
Greg will be posting occasionally, as you can see, and will also be writing a new feature for Jihad Watch: “Islam 101.” Watch for it soon.
Incidentally, the folks at Regnery Publishing have decided to call my forthcoming book Religion of Peace? also, although mine will be subtitled Why Christianity Is…and Islam Isn’t and will be a very different book from Greg’s. Titles cannot be copyrighted, and sometimes this sort of thing happens with no intent on anyone’s part to rip anyone off. Greg and I have discussed it and will do our best to minimize confusion that anyone may have; meanwhile, here at the Jihad Watch Towers in Secure Undisclosed Locationville we will soon be holding an “Authors of Religion of Peace? Convention.”
