This is what I really said about the “Obama is a Muslim” rumors, back in March
Bryan at Hot Air has a good write-up about how the Washington Post ombudsman rightly ripped WaPo reporter Perry Bacon’s piece on the “Obama is a Muslim” rumors, but did not correct Bacon’s use of a quote from a column of mine in which he made it appear as if I was saying exactly the opposite of what I was really saying.
Once more, for the record: in that column, I discussed the fact that Obama is not a Muslim. I do not believe that rumors that he is one. Last March, in a Hot Air video, I dismissed such rumors as “a lot of hooey.” So why no correction on this from the WaPo? Is it acceptable to retail falsehoods about those with whom one disagrees?
