CAIR’s Ahmed Bedier has posted a vile hate message at this site, and has never bothered to answer my questions to him about the Islamic supremacist ideology. More importantly, Bedier characterized two men who are now under indictment after being found with pipe bombs in their trunk — one of whom has admitted to making a video about how to use remote-controlled bombs against American soldiers — as a couple of “naive kids.”
And now (thanks to LGF) here he is participating in an egregiously deceptive discussion of stoning in Islam. Bedier declines to condemn the practice while noting that all three “monotheistic religions” prescribe it — a false claim, and one that is belied by the fact that only some Muslims, and no Christians and Jews, are praticing it today. Note also the imam in the video they watch, quoting Jesus’ words condemning stoning as if they mean he is recommending the practice.
Bedier also tries to excuse stoning by noting that Islamic law prescribes it for both men and women, and that four witnesses are needed to establish the crime, with 70 lashes for a false accusation (actually eighty, cf. Qur’an 24:4). He portrays this as a virtually unattainable evidentiary standard, but in practice that is not the case under Sharia. With eight women awaiting death by stoning in Iranian prisons as of last September, will Bedier condemn the practice outright?
Mr. Bedier, you’ve been here before. I invite you to do so, right here.
