Well, sometimes you can
The statement in the headline was made by the awe-inspiring bass clarinetist and alto saxophonist, the late great Eric Dolphy. I was reminded of it yesterday when I appeared on Fox’s “The Strategy Room.” Most TV appearances are a rushed five minutes with scant opportunity to say what needs to be said. But “The Strategy Room” ran for a full hour of freewheeling discussion among four panelists and the host, and it was great. Mostly I mixed it up with Dr. Bruce Weinstein, “The Ethics Guy,” who thought that to speak about stealth jihad activity was to demonize Muslims, and kept wondering about the Crusades.
I had wanted to post the show in whole or part here, but it seems to be gone, in the air, never to be captured again. Apparently it only ran online, not on the network itself, and no one I know was near a recording device at the time. If you caught any of it on uploadable video, please contact me!
