Blaspheming the Messiah
Anti-Obama slogans? The students at Nangarhar University might find themselves charged with blasphemy.
But seriously, these kinds of protests once again raise the question: is the West going to accept Islamic standards of blasphemy and refrain from speaking about Islam (including jihad aggression) in a manner that Muslims consider insulting? The implications of that are ominous.

JALALABAD (SANA): Hundreds of students of Nangarhar University in eastern Nangarhar province held a protest demonstration against the alleged desecration of holy Quran in southern Ghazni province.
The angry students also blocked Kabul-Jalalabad Highway and chanted slogans against America, Obama, coalition forces and Israel.
Protest dispersed peacefully after passing a resolution asking Afghan government and international community to compel Americans to leave Afghanistan and stop insulting Islam.…

It is to be mentioned here that Polish soldiers on Friday in southern Ghazni province have allegedly insulted Quran while searching various Mosques.
Subsequent protests in Ghazni left scores of protestors injured as they engaged in a scuffle with police.
