Two brief observations: 1) Aren’t we always told that the whole point of the hijab is to preserve female modesty? Conversely, since “fashion shows” are about anything but modesty, having a hijab fashion show goes to prove it’s not about modesty, after all, but rather, as with all things Islamic, fulfilling the letter of the law — sharia law. 2) This fashion show helps raise funds for the Gaza charity, which otherwise would be fine, if not for the unfortunate fact that the terrorist organization Hamas recently declared that it oversees all Gaza relief efforts.
