
Speak out against religious apartheid, Mr. President!
The story says he will attend no public events, but why not? As long as he wants to show the Islamic world that he respects Muslim culture, why not pay his respects to the local culture? No visit to Riyadh would be complete without a stop at Chop-Chop Square!
Or maybe he could use the occasion of the visit to stand up for human rights against Sharia, but I won’t be holding my breath.

President Obama will travel to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for a previously unannounced visit during which he will discuss Mideast peace with King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, press secretary Robert Gibbs said today.
The visit will take place the day before Obama is to deliver a speech in Cairo, Egypt. In the speech, he is expected to speak broadly to the Muslim world and also discuss his hopes for peace in the region.
Gibbs said that Obama will hold no public events in Riyadh but will have a private dinner with the King and will spend the night in the city before heading to Egypt…
