Once again, the assumption is that non-Muslim customs and practices (and laws) must bend to Muslim customs, practices and laws — this is certainly true in Muslim countries, but all too many Muslims assert the same thing in non-Muslim countries as well.

A devout Muslim is suing the Gramercy Park Hotel because they wouldn’t hire him as a security guard unless he shaved his beard, according to a lawsuit.
Samir Suljovic, 24, claims he was the subject of religious discrimination when a hotel manager told him company policy requires all employees to be clean shaven.
