Here yet again we see the typical Islamic supremacist evasion of responsibility and fanatical antisemitic paranoia. Conspiracy Paranoia Update: “Arab daily: ‘Israel mails death parcels,'” from Iran’s PressTV, November 6:
On October 29, British security authorities discovered a package containing explosives aboard an American-registered cargo plane bound for the United States from Yemen at East Midlands Airport in central England.
US President Barack Obama said the package found in Britain along with another discovered in Dubai were addressed to synagogues in Chicago.
The US Homeland Security Janet Napolitano said that the bombing plot has “the hallmarks of al-Qaeda”.
“But, why al-Qaeda?”, the Egyptian Arabic daily Al-Ahram asked in its editorial published on Thursday November 4.
The daily wrote:”Such terrorist operations are very dangerous as well as expensive to carry out, because they need a lot of resources to be carefully and decisively implemented.
“On the other hand, there are no clues to lead us to real perpetrators of these crimes, unless certain western countries, particularly the US, swiftly and undoubtedly accuse al-Qaeda terrorist group, under bin Laden leadership, as the only suspect”, said Al-Ahram.
“But, as we have learned from experience, the suspect and the major perpetrator of these terror acts could be Israeli regime which has a long precedence in carrying out such sabotage actions”, the Arabic-language newspaper said.
“Israel’s spying apparatus Mossad enjoys a good record in carrying out terror attacks.
“Several blasts rocked the Egyptian cities of Eskandariyeh and Cairo in the past years, such incidents also happened in the US facilities and even in the Jewish synagogues across the world and later investigations revealed that Israelis have carried out all those criminal measure”, Al-Ahram newspaper said in its editorial column.
The Egyptian newspaper said that Israeli regime’s agents have been using parcel bombs since a long time ago.
“Israeli agents have sent packages containing explosive to Cairo embassy’s military attaché in Jordan and an Egyptian officer in Gaza both of which exploded and left serious damages and causalities”, the daily said.
According to al-Ahram, parcel bombs had been exclusive to Israelis for conducting terror and used them several time in the first half of 1960s.
