We are constantly lectured in the West about how genuine Islam fosters peace, harmony, and societal stability. Then there are stories like this one, for which the learned analysts simply have no explanation. Why does a group that seeks to undermine society call itself Islamic? The true answer, of course, is that Islam is political, and that the members of the Islamic Movement of Kyrgyzstan consider it part of their responsibility before Allah to undermine infidel jahili society in order to pave the way for the imposition of Sharia. The same thing is happening in the West, and yet Western authorities cannot or will not believe it or take action against it.
“Kyrgyz Security Service Warns Of Secret Islamic Terror Group,” from Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, April 30:
BISHKEK — Kyrgyzstan’s National Committee for State Security (UKMK) head told parliament that an underground organization called the Islamic Movement of Kyrgyzstan (IMK) has been established, RFE/RL’s Kyrgyz Service reports.
UKMK Chairman Keneshbek Duishobaev said the IMK’s major goal is to undermine social, political, and economic stability in the country.
Duishobaev told parliament earlier today he has information that about 300-400 Kyrgyz citizens are currently undergoing training at terrorist training camps in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
