And apparently even teenage girls are getting into the act in Indonesia.
“4 teenage girls nabbed for allegedly sending mock book bomb,” from The Jakarta Post, July 16 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):
Four girls were arrested and questioned at the Bima Police precinct on Saturday for having allegedly sent a mock book bomb to the house of a police officer in Kampung Melayu, Asakota, Bima, West Nusa Tenggara.
The girls, who wore veils covering their faces, were spotted by the wife of low-ranking police officer Brig. Mulyadin while placing a thick book in front of the house. Mulyadin’s wife called the police, who later arrested the girls.
The situation in the regency has been on high alert following a homemade bomb that exploded at an Islamic boarding school on Tuesday.
Days of tense conflict followed between police and armed civilians guarding the school. Police have arrested at least 14 people allegedly implicated in the explosion.
“We are still questioning [the girls]. We haven’t yet established their motives,” Bima Police chief Adj. Sr. Comr. Kumbul KS said, as quoted by kompas.com….
