Which should give the rest of us more than ample reason to oppose and continue opposing them. Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer have already gone into great detail into the current Oval Office occupant’s decidedly pro-Islamic policies in their book The Post American Presidency. But if it’s worth saying once, it’s worth repeating: Islamic-supremacist-minded people like those in the Malaysian government know that they have a friend and ally in the White House. “We should support Obama’s Muslim policy, says envoy JJ”, The Star, September 4, 2011:
ROMPIN: Malaysians should support President Barack Obama’s policies on improving ties with Islamic countries, said Malaysian Ambassador to the United States Datuk Seri Dr Jamaluddin Jarjis.
He said it was especially crucial as Obama was facing great challenges to his policies from Congress.
“The previous administration’s policies towards Islamic countries were very worrying to us.
“Ever
since Obama took over, he has been implementing changes to build better
relations with Islamic nations,” said Dr Jamaluddin.
He added that Obama should be supported so he would continue to treat Muslims fairly.
“It is not easy for him to change the prejudice towards Islam which has become deeply set.
“We have to support him, not criticise him as it cannot be changed in the blink of an eye,” he told reporters after handing out dividend payments to participants of Risda’s commercial replanting scheme at Muadzam Shah here recently.
‘Prejudice towards Islam’? Does he mean pointing out the inherently aggressive, violent, and intolerant aspects of Islam?
