What could go wrong? “NC judge releases terrorism beheading plot suspect,” from the Associated Press, March 8 (thanks to Kenneth):
A federal judge is allowing a North Carolina woman to be released on house arrest pending her trial on charges that she conspired to behead witnesses in a terror case.
Nevine Aly Elshiekh could be imprisoned for life if convicted on the felony charges. But Senior U.S. District Judge W. Earl Britt determined she was not a threat to the public and unlikely to flee overseas.
Elshiekh’s lawyers said it could be next week before her family could put up the $1 million in cash or property needed to post her bond….
What’s the all-fired hurry?
