Here is yet more cognitive dissonance regarding the consistent line of the mainstream media, the government, and Islamic groups in the U.S., all of whom maintain that no jihad killer is or could be a true Muslim. Yet the jihadis themselves just as consistently claim the mantle of Islamic authenticity, and gain recruits among peaceful Muslims as they do so. This anomaly has never been explained; apparently, the American people are now sheeplike enough for the elites not to feel as if they have to bother doing so.
Jund al-Khalifa said this about Merah’s murders of Jewish children and a rabbi in Toulouse: “We hereby claim responsibility for these blessed operations…O’ enemies of Allah, by Allah we will not calm down and we will not sleep until we kill you like you killed us, and until we avenge the honors of the free ones, our sisters who are sitting in the prisons of the Jews and in European countries.”

On April 1, 2012, an individual calling himself Abu Al-Qa’qa’ Al-Andalusi posted a message on the Ansar Al-Mujahideen message board titled “Muhammad Merah as I Knew Him”. Abu Al-Qa’qa’ claims that both he and Merah were members of “Jund Al-Khilafa,” the jihad group that has claimed responsibility for Muhammad Merah’s killings….
In the post, Abu Al-Qa’qa’ gives details about Merah’s travels to Afghanistan and Pakistan, which he allegedly heard from Merah himself. He strongly rejects the Western media’s claims that Merah was a disturbed young man, describing him as a pious Muslim and praising his technological skills and his eagerness in training to be a mujahid. He adds that Merah was supposed to carry out a suicide bombing in Afghanistan, but that his plan was abandoned for reasons he is not at liberty to disclose….
