“Ferdaus is a Muslim-American from Ashland.” Have you ever seen anyone identified as a “Christian-American” or a “Jewish-American”? This is in line with the implication of the name of the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations, that being a Muslim is a nationality as well as a religion, which in turn relies on the Islamic idea that the Muslims constitute a single umma, which calls for an allegiance beyond nationality. It is no surprise to see the mainstream media picking up Islamic supremacist usage; they’ve certainly done it before.
“Massachusetts man to plead guilty in plot to blow up Pentagon with model planes,” from the Associated Press, July 10 (thanks to Mike Slumber):
BOSTON — A Massachusetts man charged with plotting to fly remote-controlled model planes packed with explosives into the Pentagon and U.S. Capitol plans to plead guilty to two charges.
That’s according to court documents filed Tuesday by prosecutors and attorneys for Rezwan Ferdaus.
Ferdaus is a Muslim-American from Ashland. He was arrested in September after federal employees posing as al-Qaida members delivered what he believed was 24 pounds of explosives….
The documents say Ferdaus will plead guilty to attempting to provide material support to terrorists and attempting to damage and destroy federal buildings by means of an explosive. Prosecutors and defense attorneys have agreed to request a 17-year sentence.
Federal officials said the public was never in danger from the explosives.
Of course. None of these jihad plots ever endanger the public. “Federal officials” must have a template on their PC’s that includes the line, “The public was never in danger from this plot.”
