Just when you thought the loony Leftist jihad enablers at Salon couldn’t get any crazier, we get this: “Why are terrorists so often men?,” by Irin Carmon for Salon, April 25 (thanks to Bill). When they’re not defaming counter-jihadists, Salon is busy finding non-Islamic explanations, no matter how absurd, for Islamic jihad terrorism.
Maybe Salon is on to something. While we’re at it, let’s ask some related questions: “Why are saxophonists so often men?” “Why are garbage collectors so often men?” “Why are insurance salesmen so often men?” The answers will be just about as illuminating as Salon’s exploration of the root causes of terror in testosterone.
And that’s fine. But compare Salon’s willingness to publish this with how Salon’s own writers would react to a piece entitled, “Why are terrorists so often Muslim?” The very title would set off a flurry of pieces by Alex Seitz-Wald and Jillian Rayfield, and maybe even a guest shot from bottom feeder Nathan Lean, decrying the “Islamophobia.”
