“Pakistan controls Taliban’ – Afghan army chief,” from the BBC, July 3:
The head of the Afghan army, General Sher Mohammad Karimi has said that fighting in Afghanistan could be stopped “in weeks” if Pakistan told the Taliban to end the insurgency.
