Hmmm. Pamela Geller and I aren’t terrorists. We don’t advocate or condone violence. We fight for the freedom of speech, the freedom of conscience, and the equality of rights of all people before the law. Yet after a defamatory smear campaign, we were banned from the UK as well. Can we get legal aid, too?
Yes, I know this jihadist is getting legal aid because he was once a British citizen, until he was stripped of his citizenship, and we can’t get it because we were never British citizens. But one way the British government could show that it is not utterly insane, and not completely in thrall to jihadists and Islamic supremacists, would be to dispense with those legal distinctions in this case and extend the same aid to us, now, wouldn’t it?
Of course, for that to happen, the British government would have to be not in thrall to jihadists and Islamic supremacists.
Please contribute to the legal fund to overturn the unjust ban on Pamela Geller and me entering the UK here.
And sign the petition asking that the ban be overturned here.
“Fanatic’s legal aid in bid for passport: Afghan Muslim is using legal aid to fight for their UK passport,” by Simon Hughes for The Sun, July 16 (thanks to all who sent this in):
A MUSLIM terror fanatic banned from Britain for being a threat to national security has been given legal aid in a bid to win a UK passport.
The extremist, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was stripped of British citizenship by Home Secretary Theresa May following evidence he had undergone terror training in Afghanistan.
The man, who also has Afghan nationality, launches an appeal against the ban today “” funded by the TAXPAYER.
His case will be heard by the Special Immigration Appeals Commission in London. It comes after hate preacher Abu Qatada was finally kicked out of Britain.
Tory MP Douglas Carswell said: “Foreigners must think we are mad. We use taxpayers” cash to allow people who want to defeat us on the battlefield fight us in our courts.”
Quite so. I think you are mad.
