Often Western authorities release Muslims from prison and shower Muslim countries hoping thereby to forestall jihad terrorism. It creates a pattern — habits of mind that it becomes easy for people like S Aslamjan to fall into. “Man threatens to blow up railway station, held,” from the Times of India, August 2 (thank to Joji):
CHENNAI: The Government Railway Police have arrested a 49-year-old man on charges of sending threatening letters to the Virudhachalam railway station master early this year.
Police said S Aslamjan, a resident of Erode, had been sending post cards threatening to blow up the railway station. The letters demanded that Muslims who were arrested under the National Security Act should be released and Muslims should be given 30% reservation in education and jobs. The station master received the letters on January 10 and July 27.
He is involved in 17 cases and has sent threatening letters to many other railway stations. He was arrested in Trichy on Thursday.
