Detroit is in a froth over my imminent arrival and the prospect that the truth about jihad violence and Islamic supremacism might be heard in the area. In the video above, Robert Muise, our AFDI attorney and co-founder of the American Freedom Law Center, defends me and the freedom of speech. The hosts are hopeless, making the insane assertion that asking if Islam is a religion of peace implies that Muslims are bad people, and asking incredulously if Muise is claiming that the Boston Marathon bombing had something to do with Islam. And then — risibly — Victor Begg, a local “interfaith” advocate, says, “Islam doesn’t shy away from debate.” Then he ties himself into knots trying to explain why Islam doesn’t shy away from debate, but that I shouldn’t be allowed to debate.
