Badie is being tried with involvement in the attacks that followed his speech in July, when one of the people in the crowd complained about the attackers that “they treated us like infidels.”

Egyptian prosecutors announced, Sunday, that they will charge Muslim Brotherhood leader Mohammed Badie with involvement in the deaths of seven people during Muslim Brotherhood demonstrations about two months ago. Badie is already charged with incitement to murder.
Fourteen other leaders of the movement will also be tried. No date has been set for the trial.
